I asked twice about that on TLR forums but no one replied. But I'll try Pathfinder (registered on their forums long ago but never posted, or posted only once or twice).

By the way, I don't think making the cap ship weapons weaker is a good idea. Yes, they are lethal, and that is the only reason I bought them in the first place. What you could do to make sure that everyone doesn't go and buy one is increase their prices (around 100 million). Also, you can give the fighters an advantage as well by increasing their speed, manueverability, weapon damage output and more hardpoints.

NPC capships I mean, tried to kill a couple in a Centurion. It's just impossible! They bring down hull and shield in seconds, it's easy to fly away of course but 2-3 torpedo runs and you are out of batteries and nanobots... and then - flee or die.

It only takes me 2-3 minutes to finish up a whole fleet in my battleship. =P

Igiss,
Is Juni's super-Defender from the single player campaign flyable in 4.73a? If not it would be great to have that for sale in Liberty somewhere. I don't know what the stats are though. It would be good to have another class 10 fighter, available at a good-guy base.

Role-played characters:
daedalus - Liberty Navy
bandersnatch - Ruthless criminal possessed by a (huge) alien
Shredder - Small-time Kusari pirate, looking to join the Blood Dragons

Why would nomad weapons be a problem? The battleships are still infinately superior.

One thing you could do for all fighters is make the cruise engines engage instantly I've seen that done.

As for docking to the mooring fixture, is that the line thing above the docking ring on a planet? Can you use that to dock with planets?

Yeah, fighters should have other advantages (besides manueverability) over battleships.

Do battleships have cruise disrupters? It might not make much difference if they don't.

Correct.
No cruise disruptors on large ships.

Oh cool Igiss, lol I sold my large transport when I got it because I didn't think it could land on planets :P

Also I don't think I've seen a post about it before so I'd like to say thanks! Running a server is a bit of work and this is a really well thought out mod.
