The reason why we were all at Conn, was because I was helping some new recruits finish up setting their ships. Not "toying" around.

So don't start changing the story just to make us look bad.

Just tryin to make you aware of the situation, and regardless I think new members can set up ships fine on their own, it wouldnt have hurt to send one of your bombers or whatnot out to deal with the problem. For all the play of "restricting alaska" from everyone, not much is being done to stop anyone from going through there lately.

First of all, I was the only active one there. The rest with me were new recruits, all in their Guardian/Avenger, except for one who was on the Armoury, handing out their weapons.

I also could not attend to the Alaska smuggler problem you were stating, as I was busy handing them some Imp. Debilitators and dealing with my piece-of-junk router which has been insistently disagreeing with my bandwidth needs.

I have just one problem that I can think of off the top of my head (don't fight with/against LN that much so.. *Shrug*). And that is when 2 Liberty Gunboats, 1 bomber, and 4 fighters sat in connecticut shooting each other to bits as I informed three of you to a Rheinland Blockade of the Navy-aligned Texas Jump Gate in Bering. 1 RH Cr, 1 RH Wrath.. No one came. No one even came to Texas. I was more disappointed in LN than Gronath was in his escort.. (And yes, it WAS a blockade.. He literially sat in front of the JG so if I tried docking, I'd be raped.. Damn You Gronath..)

Right, lemme put it this way, in connecticut, they were setting up ships, running at an RH Cruiser with a gunless Guardian/Avenger ain't gonna kill anything.

I definitely have a gripe.

The TAZ are in limbo re the LN. LN will not respond to my queries, nor will they officially post anything regarding with the TAZ' current status. One day a TAZ will cruise into Liberty and everything is cordial. The next day we're ordered to leave, or harrassed in other ways. Smacks of powergaming.

The "Greenleaf Incident" has been addressed. The offenders have been sacked and stripped of TAZ markings. I offerred to make reparations or make all required licenses current, and was ignored.

Now, I know there's a power vacuum at the top of LN; but this lack of communication is pathetic. If you plan to place a ban on an entire Faction, for the actions of one member, (which issue has been addressed), then the least you could do is have the courtesy to make it official in the "bannee's" message dump or the Diplomatic Forum.

If you don't want the TAZ in Liberty, that's fine; but get off the bloody dime and answer your phone.

They weren't settingup ships. The LN fighters and the bomber that were in Connecticut were ones I had seen for a week at that point, AND they were fighting each other. Thats hardly weaponless if they are pvping.. And the 2 GBs were relatively old ones. I didn't even get a response. They didn't come, NOR talk to me in private chat.. I was completely ignored.

I get multiple reports an hour when I am on.

"Pirates in Colo."

"Outcast in Texas."

"Hacker at Cali Minor."

"Smuggler coming from Cortez."

"Rouge GB Camping WP."

50% of the time Liberty responds to them we get system chat messages like this 10-15 minutes later.

"Ahhhhhhh, another 5000 units of Cardi landed on Manhattan."

"hahaha Z21 is totally defenseless."

"Liberty sucks at doing their job."

So....it would be nice if folks didn't take things so personally when Liberty Forces don't all jump up and rush to wherever your intel is telling them they need to be.

Plus, just in general give the LN a little slack. They had some time to take a break and relax as a faction in Conneticut and folks are all yelling at them?!?!

A major problem for Liberty Lawfuls is they rarely get a chance to just sit around with one another, relax, and communicate.

I mean just look at the comments here. They go into conn for a bit and everyone is like, "OMG NY is defensless?!! Where are the caps?!!? Where is the z21 blockade?!?! Were are all the system patroals?!?!" "wwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

the funniest thing is...the absolute hypocrisy of some of this.

People going on about. Liberty is a dictatorship. Liberty is fascist. Liberty are capwhores. Liberty is power hungry. Liberty is abusing its privliges.

now folks are complaining the LN are not out there engaging people, not out there securing z21, not out their with blockades.

Jebus. And Tenacity saying "The RP 'rules' in that area allow you to open fire, without warning, on any non navy/lsf ships in that area." omg?!?! "I no longer have my order character's cruiser out in omicron 100, so there isnt much I can do to stop that route anymore like I used to." So....from your own exp you see that doing that work sucks and is a pain in the bottom...your feedback is that the LN should do it for you?

it might be beneficial for the LN and LSF to develop some kind of 'task' list for members who are online at the time. Make sure at least oneship - preferrably either a bomber or large capship - is at the entrance to zone 21 to stop smugglers and intruders. Station at least one semi-powerful vessel at west point to stop cardamine smugglers (since most seem to come in from that trade lane), have an LPI or whoever's "extra" at the time near manhattan to scan and screenshot ships that make it past, and report if any xenos/pirates/etc. show up at manhattan. The rest of the forces online can deal with threats in cali/tex/colo as a mobile 'strike force', and can help the stationed people when it's needed.

There are almost always a minimum of four liberty lawful players on, a little coordination like this would go a long way towards fixing issues in new york and the rest of liberty.

I actually quite enjoyed the smugglers crying up a storm when I vaporized them with my cruiser for hauling contraband through a guard system. Right now though, im having to put all of my effort and money into getting the Junker's Union up and running, so I had to put the Order on hold for a while - I still have the character and will eventually get a new ship and start patrolling that area again, but it IS the responsibility of the LN and LSF to keep smugglers out of alaska; you shouldnt be relying on the order to do it.
