[color=#FF0000]Assignments, Promotions and Updates

Standing Orders Addendum:
1. Although the BPA has bountied them, =CR= vessels are not to be hunted. If you encounter them, inform them on private comms that it is not the intention of the Guild to do anything that would jeopardise our relationship with the IMG. We need access to IMG bases.

2. Corsair reprisals are anticipated and there has been increased Corsair activity including a splinter group (the LT) that appear determined to annex Bretonia. The Bretonian military will deal with mass invasions of this kind. An open contract on ALL Corsairs still stands. Enagage targets of opportunity wherever you encounter them. Provide evidence for kills - ID and kill message. As before, report kills here and we will process the claim. Avoid their massed fleets. All squads are to concentrate in Zone 1 for now.

PLEASE CHECK ZONES AND OPERATING PROCEDURES BEFORE COMMENCING

Went to Solarus Station to pick up the Provider eh. Heheh, decided to have a peek in the cargo. *facepalm*
Sorry to say but I've neglected it, rather unbecoming of a proffesional, I know.
As ordered I brought the ship to Cambridge but first I made a stop at the Research Station to Quaruntine the ship. Turns out a family of critters made a home in the back of the mess in the cargo. Turns out there are some big thinkers in there, call themselves the Green Front if I remember correctly. Uptight buggers eh. Something about contaminating eco-systems.
Well, they cleaned the ship for me. Nice sparkling and good as new eh, and after a little R&R with a graduate that caught my eye the S/D-Provider will be ready and waiting on Cambridge Planet

Started out today's patrol from Houston and did a quick tour on the way over to the Cali jump hole. Since the new directives that were handed down yesterday I was on my way over to New London and Cambridge. After Jumping into Cali and doing a quick run through the known trouble spots I came across a Hacker cruiser causing general destruction.

His name is Absolut and here are the cam shots

Absolut ship

and here is his load out

Absolut guns

Thinking that a dead hunter does not get paid I got out of there and since I was the only S/D rep up on the net, I then contacted the Liberty Navy about this guy. They thanked me and said they would dispatch a few bombers to deal with him.

I then proceeded to New London and then to Cambridge. Since I have only ever cut through this system I decided to do an extended tour and make a complete nav map. Finished that up and saw that APM-Sagittarius was coming through Cambridge and asked if he needed anything. That was a negative. So I proceeded to New London to perform a full mapping of that system but the Ion storm forced me to dock and apparently it was a bad one. So I am stuck on Watterloo station until it passes. Will continue to patrol and map tomorrow.

Details:

In order to register for inter stellar status with the Sirius Crime Commission, we are now obliged to place securities in the sum of 500 million credits with a SCC appointed financial services division.

All bulk cash and credit chips will be stored in the Armoury until we can process this payment.

Agents and Managers may deposit credits towards the central fund by using the /givecash command on their network consoles.

Please use this code with all transfers.
/givecash S/D-Armoury >amount<

So a lodgement of 10 million credits would be coded as
/givecash S/D-Armoury 10000000

At present the fund stands at 100 million credits.

//This is the fund for official status. Donate as you wish.

Met with S/D-Vader.Cruz in New London. We listened to some guy that was baiting QCO Aubrey Manwairing with propoganda about the Bretonian crown for a bit. Free speech and all that, but he was speaking ill of Queen Carina.

We went to California to see if there was anything happening there, updated our nav-comps with a couple of JH's that one of us that the other didn't. Caught a glimpse of hacker ship on long range sensors, but couldn't get him otherwise.

Went over to Texas thinking that the hacker went there.

I was not aware that ONS tag stands for Outcast ships - the Gneisau (sp?) was down by Sugarland. By the time I got down there, the debris field was large from destroyed fighters. I did NOT get a shot of the cargo bay of that ship, darn it.

Vader investigated a pilot with the [Cray] tag. Pretty much what you'd expect - lane hackers. He was popping back and forth between Texas and California as well, so while we run the trade lanes a lot - we never really got anyone tonight, just a little intel on ships to keep an eye out for.

I'm docking at Houston for minor ship repairs - the relief tube is malfunctioning in the bomber and my bombardier has a bladder infection. Agent Cruz was going to continue patrolling for a while to gather more intel.

Greetings Brian,
I received an invoice from the board about S/D's continued growth and the project your organization is undertaking. I have made a deposit to your armoury to help move things along. Your agents have been real kind to Ol' Garret and I would like to see my best customers have continued success.
There is something I would like to ask of S/D. I have been a grunt for over 40 years, I love my job it's my life. Since S/D is the largest shareholder for AP Manufacturing might I ask you a favour? Can you pull a few strings, cut some red tape and have me placed on the Board of Directors?
Help me fatten up my retirement savings so I can live comfortably for the rest of my life on the Augsburg Colony.
I thank you nonetheless for your loyal business to our shipline

Message reads:

I have news of the utmost importance. Corsair hostilities have increased against Bretonia. Today a large force of Corsairs invaded the Cambridge system and seized control of the trade lanes to Cambridge Planet. A dark day indeed for the merchants who trade at Cambridge.
I was notified of this invasion by QCR-Stanley Nelson an officer of the Bretonia Armed Forces. I was requested to rendezvous with a fleet that was assembling at the Cambridge Jump Gate in New London.
A large force gathered consisting of representatives from the BAF, BPA, Mandalorians and myself from S/D.

http://i319.photobucket.com/albums/mm447/P...PC/screen14.jpg

Unfortunately QCR-Stanley Nelson's ship malfunctioned at the JG.
Before heading in we discussed our roles and the priority of targets.
The Battle of Cambridge conssited of 2 battles in quick succession. The Corsairs had split into 2 groups, with one group intercepting us halfway down the tradelane. Our first targets were the 2 Gunboats. With everyone knowing which targets to attack ahead of time each ship met concentrated firepower and had very little chance to defend itself. With the two Gunboats down, it was just a sweep up of the VHF's and Bomber.

http://i319.photobucket.com/albums/mm447/P...PC/screen17.jpg

Or'dinii was the first to dock on the tradelane to to the Planet Cambridge, and was beset by yet more Corsairs. Our force moved to the battle now being waged on Cambridge Planet's orbit. As we now outnumbered the Corsairs nearly 3 to 1 they picked off one by one.

http://i319.photobucket.com/albums/mm447/P.../screen21-1.jpg

The Corsair's reign of terror in the Cambridge System is over and the invasion force was repelled with no losses on our side. This is a monumental note in the history of Bretonia. The success of this battle should ring out to Sirius that Bretonia has the power to defend itself from all threats even when under the threat of war with another house.

Subject: Patrol Report

Priority: Normal

I have two nights of patrols to report on.

First night I patrolled with Agent Vader. We briefly ran into Agent Schoultz, but he was going off shift. Primarily we ran into cardi smugglers in Texas that wouldn't play. There was some power docking at Houston, and they just wouldn't come back out. We had been at Mojave for a bit earlier as well. New York was rather lawless.

Tonight the Memory was flying with the Swordfish. Our patrol started at Mojave in Cali. In discussion, since I'm not out in the boondocks now, we decided to get a different sensor suite for the Memory. So we headed down to GC and picked one up. In coming back we got sidetracked in Leeds and Cambridge chasing Outcasts and some guys with seriously screwed up IFF tags.

There were also some Kusari sounding names running around there as well, which we tried to check out with no success.

In chasing one Outcast through the Magellan JH, we ran into Abyssion. Swordfish chased him for a bit, but he was totally unresponsive to all hails. Back in Cali, we did interdiction patrols at Mojave for a while, making sure my new sensor suite was functioning well. Caught an insane Lane Hacker heading towards Texas on sensors, and we gave pursuit. He made it to to Beaumont ahead of us, so no joy there.

Then on Long Range Sensors, we picked up Phantoms in California. Swordfish and Athena's Memory both went back to Cali. At the jump gate into NY, there was a Phantom in a BW fighter. He was equipped with two code weapons and a mini-razor. That fighter was incredibly manueverable. While he was doing a number on my shields, the Memory was still fighting fine when suddenly two MORE Phantoms jumped in. Discretion being the better part of valor it was time to run - except we didn't have time. Swordfish lasted about 30 seconds longer than I did.

My co-pilot sustained minor injuries during the ejection - he'll be on light duty for a couple of days. Makes for an interesting patrol - over 2 hours of running around, not accomplishing anything - and then having 2 minutes of serious combat.
