What speed computer do I need to play this?
Am I still able to make progress even without a lot of time spent?
Is it playable while I'm drunk?
What's the gameplay like?
Is it complicated?

Yes definitely.

Is it playable while I'm drunk?

Barely.

What's the gameplay like?

Space travel & Space combat. That's what you will spend most of your time on... apart from visiting bases, on bases there are equipment, ship and commodity dealers, also there's a bar on each.

Is it complicated?

No not really.

yea theres role playing but only if you want to, and theres no making Fun of noobs, 99% of the time people help you get started, lol ive dumped over 100million Credits into getting people started

I guess I didn't understand what you meant by this... but whatever.

About RP. There are some opportunities to act in a non-RP way, for example quit the game in the middle of a fight, but in most other games it's alike... roleplaying depends on the game as much as on people who play it.

And on our server players are usually friendly and ready to help. As for actual RPing, we've got factions for it.
