I personally love his idea for this to be an RP heavy system, however I do not like the rules he is imposing on everyone (Though the rules for attacking/killing AW & Zoners are fine)

Well this time it is rules for the AW home system so you they have to be listened to and respected.

and Onca what you call civil disobediance i call plain ignorance and if it is me you are doing it to then i will warn you now that i dont like it. and besides its only RP so just stop trying to be difficult.

Anyone else remember the last time this was tried?

Everyone got banned from gamma for 24 hours and we ended reworking the system claiming rules to the current version.

As far as I can see the AW are mercs aligned to the zoners, that means (to me) they should only worry about enemies and people/factions they are paid to worry about.

So basically all we need is a list of factions/characters that will be attacked when in your home system.

The zoners wouldn't even try enforcing any rules because they'd end up in the firing line of alot of big powerful pirate factions who can quite easily destroy the zoner stations, if they wanted to.

So far the list of enemies is pretty short, only the phantoms and Eisen-grifen would be on it.

Well, even though some of Dab's rules are conflicting in terms of RP, I think that they are pretty good when it comes down to practicality.

Umm, no :P

Marauder, this isn't like the Gamma "incident." Even though that was simply one faction attacking a hostile faction, and then you all complained about it, because you wanted left alone. This however is our Home system for one. That means we have more power there than anyone else, thus we are allowed to make these rules.

Also to everyone. These rules are mainly just for RP. And as I said, we will not actually tell you you cannot dock, unless your a faction hostile to us. Asking for permission is completely optional, not required. I just thought we should act a bit more like NPCs when it comes to RP, and one always has to ask to dock first. And everyone is asked their identity by the base. You'll hear it if you listen closely.

Oh and Onca, what would be considered civil disobedience by you, is Revolt and Law breaking to a Monarchy. :D Of which the punishment is usually death. Fortunately death in this case just means you go back to where you started.

Oh and if everyone wants the rules to be simpler I'll make them simpler, but I don't see why they don't need to be.. The only one that is an unfair rule is the asking for dock law, which is optional anyway.

I agree with the rules. They make the game more interesting..

But i disagree with having to ask for permission to dock..

If i remember correctly, there are certain rules about home systems.
One of them states that we cannot restrict access to home system unless there is a war.

Okay, Last and FINAL TIME. The asking to dock law is RP ONLY, it is entirely OPTIONAL. They do not have to do it if they do not want to!

Well, whatever.

I just wish I dont get shoot at if I bump into some guy, nerfed in the role play.

Stupid things happen and I had it once already.
I was having RED lag while a group of corsairs asked to drop my cargo.
All of a sudden I was blasted and sucking vacuum...
*WTF HAPPENED?!?*
Jump-Gate-Pirate (or what his name was) blow my Talon up into pieces because he saw a group of Corsairs shooting at me...

Too much RP can kill you... :P
