Such a interesting day. I was called on to assit my fellow S/D members in destroying a corsair gunboat by the name of captain jack. I didnt get to the battle in time as he was destroyed before i could get to where he was. I then saw a corsair named sparda on my scanners but he disappeared into omega 5. After that we were greated by a corsair bomber by the name of [OPG]Black.Dog. He was a tad hard to hit dispite being a bomber and i was the one who was mostly hitting him as far as i could tell. I had to constantly avoid jousting him due to the hammmer heads rather large size. After a rather long battle he started to enguage his cruise i managued to get a few missles on him and disrupt him he then ran to a trade lane but was destroyed while next to it. Have to give this guy credit i may hate corsairs but i ll recognize his skill. Also i aplogize for the slight delay in this report.

Ive had enough of disco for now. I might be back at the next mod release.

Good Day Sir,
Being one of the newest members of APM I was unsure if this information is of value. Making an early morning run from Cambridge to New Berlin I encountered many corsairs in the Cambridge system. Some of the HS faction seems to know who APM is and seem to be gunning for us. They tried to pirate me but were slow on the uptake. Sorry did not get a camera shot of the indiviual.
On the return trip the HS folks were gone but I encountered a Corsair gunship named Purebob. I caught him out of the corner of my eye and was docking with a tradelane when he disrupted it and blasted my shields to nothing with 2 shots. I just sat there waiting for the demand. He manuvered himself infront of me and gave the "Money or Die" bit. I asked how much, but before he could answer the trade lane came back up and I shot off into the distance. Seems I was still on autodock. Now where he stopped me was bad he was inbetween the trade lanes by the battle ship on the way to planet cambridge from the Omega-3 gate. Sorry..having never stopped there I do not remember the name of the Battleship.
These Corsairs are getting very blatent and aggresive to be moving around so freely in the Bretonian systems. Needless to say this will seriously hamper our ability to trade. Sorry to take up so much of your time but I felt the Search and Destroy Agency should be informed of these blatent attacks within our AO.

While APM may be connected somewhat to the Guild, it is a separate company and a distinct entity, legally speaking. There is no justification for pirates destroying APM ships, any more than there is for them attacking any other trader-registered vessels. They may extract credits and cargo, but the loss of ships should not be something we expect to see much of.
I have advised you privately already - the Omegas are beyond our ability to patrol on a twenty-four hour basis. Pay a escort pilot or face the consequences.
Most attacks occur on the route from Rheinland to Bretonia. Perhaps the more secure routes might not be subject to such lawlessness.

Good evening, gentlemen.
In Liberty space this evening, I saw opportunity for some easy credits in that there was a low presence brought about by the Liberty Navy, and my long-ranged sensors were picking up multiple distress beacons, possibly caused by pirate activity.
In the California system, I attempted to take advantage of Liberty's open bounties by using my Hammerhead to engage a Hacker Saber with the signature 'The.Starfall'. I was able to prevent him from pirating a nearby shipper, but alas, as Hackers do, he escaped. I was later paid 50,000 credits by a patrol boat, 'Valor', for this action.
I proceeded to New York, attempting to hunt down a Xeno, '|-|arbinger'. I joined up with [LN]Rick.Gunner. My Hammerhead had trouble matching the Eagle of the foe, yet I persisted. However, there were several friendly fire incidents from our so-called employers, which left me with little confidence in them at all. I prefer to work with more professionally organised units, such as the Bretonian Armed Forces, for instance. The utter lack of training and preparation given to Liberty Navy pilots has astounded me as both a combat pilot and former flight instructor.
I shall be taking my business back home, to Sheffield.

With recent threats from Corsairs, there seemed ample chance to make a tidy sum of credits.
One 'Custo Benitez' was seen in Cambridge, but after inspection, appeared to be an unmanned drone. I kept an eye on it, and moved into Omega-5, to engage the Praetorian 'Sparda', who fled to his asteroid base, preventing any bounty collection.
I met up with Stix and Devil.Starr in Cambridge, where I scanned a passing [MRA]Warlord. Just what I wanted, a hold full of artifacts. I pursued, whilst the others cut off all exits. We tightened the net around him, and he opened fire. His mistake.
After convincing the BPA that Warlord must have been a Corsair, due to his cargo, if not his IFF, they paid 200,000 credits. Not too shabby.

There was a routine interdiction patrol in Leeds last night of several S/D Agents.
Devil.Star, Breako, Bobafett, Swordfish, and I were patrolling the Leeds trade lanes, watching for smugglers and pirates. We noticed on long range scanners that two Phantoms were entering Leeds from Magellan.
The two Phantoms began making assorted threats over system comms. In keeping with standing Agency guidelines, we simply stayed in orbit around Leeds and did not seek them out. They did eventually arrive in Leeds orbit, and did open fire on our agents. Please note that they fired first. Two of our agents, Breako and Devil.Starr, led the Phantoms away from me so that I could gather intelligence on their weapons loadouts, while Swordfish and Bobafett docked. Once I had the intel, I ordered the other two agents to return to break off combat and return to the planet immediately. They did so, and we all successfully landed safely.
The following intelligence was gathered on [Phantom]Nightmare:
The following intelligence was gathered on [Phantom]Ravenous:
Note also that Ravenous appears to be female. During their system taunts, Ravenous was continually referred to by Nightmare as 'sister'.
<Scrambler Off>
After docking, I bought the first round at a tavern on Leeds - we all obeyed the first law of Bounty Hunting and came home alive.

During the routine checkpoint set up around Leeds last night we were engaged by Phantoms. I believe a full report on the encounter has been made so I'll spare you the details. Contact me for any more info on the matter.
This report is about the the new Prototype VHB I've been lucky enough to be the test pilot for. This ship handles beautifully in a full on combat situation as was proven last night during the phantom encounter, as it was easily able to strip the shields and begin causing damage on the phantoms within seconds while i was running interference for Special Agent Max De Virgo on his intelligence gathering mission.
All the agility of a VHF after all the hull technically is of a manta if my eyes serve me well enough, but for the most part the firepower of a Bomber.
It is agile, quick, very responsive. the targeting systems for the secondary weapon grouping is a little touchy and takes getting used to but can strip the shields of just about anything in a matter of minutes, and in most cases seconds. The primary weapon cluster delivers an adequate amount of firepower to blast through the hull of most anything.
The Manta power core can handle extended abuse without breaking a sweat due to the weapons clusters being separated and the missiles not constantly taking away from the available power. Extended dogfighting is a viable option for this model even when out of missile ammo.
I would recommend this load-out for mass production with slight tweaks for those who aren't licensed to carry nomad tech. a slightly weaker version of the same prototype.
The following is a load-out of the current prototype and also my recommendations for the weaker mass production model:
Prototype VHB:
2x Nomad Energy Blasters
2x Ultra Sunrails
2x Paralyzer Missiles
1x Mini Razor
1x Nuclear Mine
I personally would like to thank you for allowing me to be a part of the research put into this wonderful piece of machinery. I prey the engineers at The Doghouse keep up the good work.

Well Friday night soe the most part was very quiet. After two trips around New London and Cambridge, I decided to go scout liberty. Several of our folks came up on the comm channels and we were all out checking our routs. Agent Max, Devil.Star, Bobafet, and Swordfish all came together to scout the Kusari/ Bretonia border. I continued on to Cali, Texas and then into Colorado. I used Onatrio to get to Colorado. With the exception of New York (as usual) Liberty was quiet.
Listening to the comms, it seems our other agents may have had a possible rogue gunboat problem, so I made my way over to Leeds to assist. Oh the way there I has a bad fluctuation in my right engine and had to dock for a bit to have it looked at.
Once I got it cleared the gunboat turned out to be a junker I believe so he was let go and the Agents deiced to set up some blockades at Leeds to scann for smugglers. I went up to join them. While scanning traders and the locals, it was noticed that we had some very undesirable company headed our way.
The Phantoms slowly made their way over to Leeds and basically made threats. I had docked so as not to cause an issue. Once they started talking about a cleansing of the planet, I decide it was time to get off world. I anounced my intentions of leaving the planet and launched.
Apparently that was provocation enough and they attacked me. Needless to say I used every trick to avoid getting blasted. Thankfully my perdicament allowed Special Agent Max to get the intel he did. Once he had what he needed, Max instructed, those of us offering the Phantoms target pratice, that we dock on Leeds. I made it to the planet with only a few scratches and down a few SB's.
After that I waited them out and they moved on. Once I hear a distress call from the Luxury Liner Shetland in Edinburg I knew they had left Leeds. So I launched and made my way back to Cambridge, which is where I am making this report from. Must say I am very happy that a Manta is so dang good at getting out the the way of things.

Yes I encountered Phantoms again. Actually we. Five of us were in Leeds keeping an eye out for the usual pirates and being available for any calls on the comms.
A familiar alien voice came on the system comms, one I've come to know...
Another one came on the comms. Their eerie references to their mission pervaded all the comms in the Leeds system. A sound that still makes my skin clammy.
I didn't know which direction they were coming from, but we converged to Leeds Orbit. I was the first to notice on my scanners, as I was coming in from the opposite side of Leeds orbit, what I saw was Phantoms!.
The tell-tale chill ran up my spine as they closed. I knew it for sure. The words almost choked in my throat as I tried to say that "they are here". I'm still sure only gibberish came out of my mouth.
Immediately I made for the closest lane, Bobba was close to the Leeds dock and escaped.
Special Agent de Virgo, being true to his calling, couldn't pass up the opportunity to get intel on the Phantoms.
The rest I only found out after the blood stopped pounding in my ears. Turned out Special Agent de Virgo got his intel and all Hunters made it out safely.
