Well, I don't know a homeworld ship from a homeboy, so should they stay?

Most people can't distinguish Homeworld ships from 3-poly bricks.. cuz most of them ARE incredibly low poly, and very bad looking. Waran looks like the Mona Lisa by comparison. That is why they need to die really really fast- they're ugly enough that you break immersion to spit. Firefly ain't bad looking (even with the crap texture) and isn't so incredibly well known that everyone goes "ZOMG I WANT TO FLY THAT SHIP, SCREW RP" like they tend to do with SW ships. I'm still saying we get rid of it in the end, but there are bigger fish to fry.

If there's time to do it, then yes- it's an import after all. If it comes down to 'replace Firefly' or 'replace Homeworld line' then most people would say 'replace Homeworld line', myself included.

beside, in what the firefly is anything Freelancer? I won't even say Bretonian. And I won't even go on critisizing its esthetic.

The low quality version is, yeah, not all that good. A LOT better than the Waran or Homeworld trash, but meh. The actual ship looks fairly BW to me, and it can look a lot more FLish with a simple texture fix. But, like I've said not enough times apparently, after there are no more larger fish to fry, then fry it too. Imports -> die and all that. Priorities is what I'm discussing here, not its status as a viable keeper.

Most bretonian ships are built on a smooth, round-but-bulky design, and the firefly is the same.

Really, if you put the back of the perceron or clydesdale on the center portion of the ship, moved the engines in closer to the body, replaced the cockpit design with that from the clydesdale, and gave it a bret red/maroon/cream texture it'd look like it always belonged here.

The general shape of the ship fits, akumabito is just being an antagonizing ******* because he's pissed about his starwars capwhore fleets being replaced.

That was a cheap shot, he has a point, it is an import after all, and should get the hammer with the rest of them. Although I would like to see what it would look like with your suggestions... might look a bit silly, but all Bretonian ships look silly if you consume enough sugar.
