Agent Starr is hereby promoted to the rank of Special Agent, with command of a newly commissioned Repair Ship The Revolver.
Agent Starr's family background has provided him with a sound understanding of combining and manipulating technologies creatively, and his time in Kusari means that he has sound mechanical skills with even the most innovative components.
He will handle maintenance, fleet support and repairs. He has a workshop on the Sheffield Station docks and will occasionally be assigned to the Doghouse to assist the Research & Development Division and SD Systems.
His current project, as you may have noted, is a modified heavy combat craft for capital ship assault.
The Revolver is going through its final pre-flight tests and will be operational this evening.
Standing Orders Addendum:
1. Although the BPA has bountied them, =CR= vessels are not to be hunted. If you encounter them, inform them on private comms that it is not the intention of the Guild to do anything that would jeopardise our relationship with the IMG. We need access to IMG bases.
2. The situation has stabilised in Bretonia, and a revamping of the Bretonian Armed Forces is being put into operation. This will allow us to free up squads for other contracts. As a result, we will give priority to the Liberty Navy's contract aimed at disrupting the smuggling of cardamine for the time being. This requires that we operate a border patrol surrounding Liberty completely.
3. Be advised: a retaliation of sorts has been ordered by the Council of Dons. Further details are available here. It appears we may find ourselves targeted by unscrupulous mercenaries. Exercise extreme caution.

As per your orders I moved locations from Bretonia to the Galileo and Kepler region. On the way through Colorado I encountered what appeared to be a bunch of opposing faction miners in Silverton fields. Since I have seen red contacts in the fields before mining..decided to move on to get to my new assignment. Turns out there was a Xeno hiding in the field and he spotted me and followed. I took the trade lane to the next stop off so as to not cause the civilians any issue while I determined the Xeno's intentions. Well Black.Nova opened fire the minute he came with in missile range so I engaged.
We fought each other to a basic stale mate, and I was having issues with a localized Ion Storm. The local navy forces were trying to help but all they really did was get in my way and bounce of my manta. After the local Ion disturbance left. Aiming became less of an issue and I was whittling him down when a second red contact showed up and began to engage.
Since I was already battling a very rough foe,and out of batteries, I decided that two opponents was one too many and quickly dock at the Battleship Rio Grande. While docking a a missile ruptured my engine housing and trashed it. So I am out of service till I can get a new one delivered. They tell me the will put in an order and get one from Sheffield by the end of the week, they hope. So if you all need me I'm stuck at the Rio Grande will at least Friday.

Last night on patrol i encountered a Xeno pilot by the name of Sinn_Fein while attempting to exit the NY system on my way to my assigned patrol zone. He immediately engaged and after a short battle was dispatched. Not sure if there is a blanket bounty on him since he wasn't openly pirating. He did however open fire on my vessel putting me well within my rights to destroy the lowlife scum.

Body Of Text: Hi, sorry but I drank a Liberty Ale a few days ago and it sent me into some kind of allergic reaction. The doctors say that I will be fit to travel in a ship tomorrow, but that I have to be hooked up to some kind of IV... yeah right, there are better treatments on Crete. Anyways, they tell me that I am now allergic to Alcahol so I have to have so called "safe" drinks:(
Oh and about my other message, the one that ended so oddly... it was a computer crash, it corrupted the message mid-transit.
Hoping to be on my feet tomorrow,
Mark Stark.

Subject: Mission Successful
Last nights mission was a complete success but that's not to say it was without action. it started with a RV between myself and my Wild Geese operative contact who wishes to remain nameless and after the fine job of escorting he did i tend to want those wishes respected so for future reference he will be referred to only as "my contact".
The RV point was set for Planet Houston in the Texas system and started out with a hassle by the local athorities over the prototypes weapons load-out. Damned Liberty License board moves slowly. after a 15 to 20 minute hassle in which i did comply i was allowed to leave the system without having to defend myself from the liberty navy....
We Departed Liberty space and set a course for Omicron-Kappa as per your mission approval. for the most part the trip there was an uneventful one. riddled with your usual pest control problems like for instance Titan wings, by which we were slowed down on 2 occasions to fend off. in Omicron Gamma the nomads showed up. i never thought they would be that desperate to recover their lost tech but they were there, they were in force, and they were eager to show me just what thier weaponry could really do! I narrowly escaped through the JH into Omicron-Kappa by the time i reached the hole i was a flaming wreck and she barely held together for the jump. once on the other side of the hole we had a briefe moments peace in which i accepted a trade from my contact who was nice enough to supply me with some spare bots / bats. the reprieve was a brief one as the nomads closed on our position once again and we engaged cruise engines and headed directly for our mission objective.
The planet was a welcomed break wile my fighter was being repaired. and so i headed over to the requisitions office to gather the supplies we needed. Then Disaster struck.
A near miss with a BOC Cruiser started the siege in omicron Kappa. he kept us holed up planet-side long enough for the Nomad Battleship escorted by full nomad fighter wings set in to hold a siege of the planet.
After 3 attempts to undock with very little success my contact and i decided to make a break for it back out of the system with myself (the weaker of the 2 ships) still holding the cargo.
We made it to the JH and i immediately went through hoping my contact would follow suite which he did.
the rest of the trip was relatively quiet as we maintained radio silence in the harsh extremes of the omegas until docking on Freeport 9 to handle what little repairs were needed and to re-arm and transfer the cargo to his much safer and much roomier hold for transport to the doghouse. we decided on a safer route back to Bretonia space (circumventing liberty) and i put up for the night on Cambridge. My contact continued on to NL to await contact from the doghouse to transfer the cargo over to its new home.
A few close scrapes but all in all a successful mission.

Recieved new engine for my manta and worekd all night to get it installed and tested. Was finally reay this morning to head up in to the new patrol area. Did mapping runs of both Keppler and Galileo. After doing mapping runs and repairing my shipe from radioation damage. I ran a few patrol routs. Once again seems i get up to early for most pirates and smugglers. I did see a few honest traders moving parts around the systems. Currently docked on Ames getting radioation damages repaired. Someone needs to make some better shielding.
This is to let you know that I've (finally) managed to get over to this area. I'll primarily be working out of Texas to patrol these areas. The Zoners at Freeport 2 don't have an issue with me - or us - being there. Of course, we still have to respect their neutrality, so we can't engage anyone right there. However, it may be possible with additional agents to set up a 'speed trap'.
I've completely scanned all three systems for assorted bases - found a Unioner base over in Hudson I wasn't aware of previously.
I've completed a simple patrol of all areas, and will report when I have something to report. The Surma had one minor encounter enroute to this patrol area, but it didn't turn into anything serious - Rogue fighters don't like missile boats, big shock.

There are several new models being equipped in Sheffield Station at the time of writing. Also, you may now operate freely in Zones One and Two. Congratulations.
