Hey, I wear a Zoner cap too but as many have said, I never have felt nor am I immune to a tax. Fortunately, most pirates have been pretty kool with me. One thing I won't do, and some pirates do it, is when they blast my ship and then demand tax. Yes, it has happened to me. And if I've come out of a jump hole or something and find someone on the other side immediately popping me with CD missiles, don't expect a cordial response!

Zoners are not immune to piracy. Pirate them at will - but be aware that Zoners have a long reach and life may get unpleasant as a result. Docking rights for zoner freeports withheld, no more food shipments from the freeports, sirius wide bounty on your head - that sort of thing. Gneisenau found this out recently and ended up making amends...

Our target (Gneisenau) has presented himself at the abode of Eris, and pledged his future respect for Her and Her servants, the TAZ. There was also a stipend for the Church coffers. Bless you, Gneis. May you always find slack, and drive a nice incunabula.

As a Zoner trader and explorer I never feel that I should be exempt from taxing. In fact when pirates let me pass because I'm a Zoner I feel a little bad, like I'm cheating the system. I play a Zoner because I like to explore and run all over Sirius, not because I want a free pass when trading.

I like the freedom to travel all over sirrius, but in roleplay I was allways polite to everyone.

Yeah thats the problem, if Zoner trader says to Corsair: You cant kill me, Im a Zoner. ... I think the Corsair should kill him:DTheese two have friendly relations, thats why the like (kinda) each other, but saying that is like having tatoo "Kill me please" on forehead.

Thats why I was wiondering about topic creator faction and what the Zoner said... If it was " U cant touch me ima a zoner" then yeah,l tax him to death, if it was "Oh, Greetings, I think that...blah bla" then no.

That's how I approach Corsairs, Outcasts or any pirate type. Quite often some good intell is better than credits or cargo.

God that's what happens to me. I could be 6k away not even moving towards him, and he alredy screaming diplomatic immunity etc. Threats with juggernauts is also a common practice. They'll also take up your time until half the system is loaded with BH capwhores.

This is also why I don't really like even making demands in system chat everyone who can interfere will. From BHs, freelancers, and either other traders screaming out "DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!11!" It's very stressful.
