I am annoyed by it as well. We had a group of Xeno's flying around making a really loud fuss today, how many of you came to silence it? None.

It was me flying in and hitting the storage depots that finally started a fight.

You really need to -move- at some point.


The is a real issue with lib lawful forces sat at manhattan, saying "c'mon then coward, attack us"
and then when you do you get... "That was oorp, you can't attack manhattan"

oh shut up and sort it out. Just move and get involved in something more fun than being sat on your behinds. PLay the game pro-actively.

EDIT: Actualy I will say this. The [LN] and =LSF= actualy come hunt for us, which is really good.

Perhaps Naval/Armed Forces IDs are in need of modification? Take away their ability to stop smugglers or traders with contraband. Then maybe the police IDs will actually have a niche, rather than just being the poorly armed little brothers who sit around while the military has all the 'fun'.

In most of the 'real world', the armed forces of a country has no authority to arrest or detain citizens except in certain situations (or by executive order). They also have no authority over the law enforcement agencies, local or national, of their country... Again, except in certain situations. In fact, the police are allowed and duty-bound to arrest military personnel performing illegal activities.

Agreed. Right now LN players outnumber LPI players 5 to 1. The Navy get heavier ships right off the bat, superior weapons (Buckshots on occasion, Splitters etc.), and the possibility of commanding Capital ships.

The LPI gets 3 ships. 5 if you include a Mammoth freighter on occasion, and the flagship which barely even counts IMO. Aside from that, they get Liberty and Civillian weapons only.

Naval forces should not handle smugglers, Rogues, or even the occasional Hacker or two. Leave that to the LPI. Report sightings to the LPI and hold your position. Pretty simple. The Navy would still have free reign over terrorists like Xenos, also Hellfires, and the Outcasts. Not to mention cases where mass other pirates make a stand. LPI are capable of asking for backup.

Still, the indy vigilantes will still run free and do the same thing...:dry:

And then they started chasing me - So naturally I set a course to Detroit and began calling back up(I flew there with Cruise mind you)

The Battlecruisers refused very afraid of the danger three Taiidan's posed against them - So I started running and they went to Manhattan...

And then the Battlecruisers and such refused to go to what they believed their death.

Hm, it's a legitimate issue Brian. Is there no way to resolve issues without going defensive?

I just recommended the LPI do more, and the LN do less. No flaming here...

I wonder if the amount of times that liberty has been taken over has increased lately or has been rather the same. I think something that is contributing to Liberty's problem with holding the system may be partly due to the recent change in Liberty's diplomacy towards their allies.

Restricting what ships can enter, who they can engage, what weapon configurations are allowed, and telling them that if they get into a battle they are on their own. Any government that takes this stance will find soon enough that keeping out criminals just became impossible. Enjoy your arrogant position LN, it will end in one of two ways, either liberty burns or you change your attitude. The LSF and LPI are doing what they can with what they have while several LN continue to attack Liberty in their pirate characters.
