The leviathan had been called away to the sigmas to escort an AW convoy and with the Glasgow undergoing repairs Jack had no ships to join the battle with so all he could do is stand with kristy on her balcony and watch the carnage, silently agreeing with her comment.

The AW Zoners were expecting this. Luciaden began collecting an attack fleet and was now prepared.
The Ableben, Zoner Juggernaut carrying the Suicide Kings.
The Caedo, a Outcast Dreadnaught.
The Sigtryggr, a Liberty Cruiser, recently repaired from an encounter with an alien ship.
The Leviathen, a Liberty Dreadnought commanded by Admiral Alpha.
2 Lottatore carriers, carrying one hundred Eagle fighters and one hundred missile fighters, Eagles converted to carry 6 missiles instead of guns.

Meanwhile, on C'Tan's...

DarkStar walked to the bridge. "I take it our... guests have arrived?"
The sensors officer stood. "Yes sir. Exactly as you predicted. We're picking up the Ableben, the Caedo, the Sigtryggr, the Leviathen, two Lottatore carriers, two boarding craft, and a slew of those fighters equipped with the sensor pods."

Two things happened at once. One, Nomads started springing up from nowhere around the AW fleet. A huge number. Battleships, gunboats, fighters, unbeleivably gargantuan ammounts. The AW soon found themselfs on the deffensive as they were pummeled on all sides.

Between the agitation, peacks of evergy sprawled in every direction. A clumsy show of white and yellow from the cannon blasts between the green and red from the fighters fire swirls and turns in every direction.

After an insane explosion fired by a powerful fighter, the blast discharged an EMP that shook the Nomad gunboats. The brave Outcasts were now getting the upper hand against the the Nomads.

Commander Behemoth managed to sustain the damage while he protected the rear of the fellow pilots in space, whose fighter ships were very damaged. While some repared to return to Planet Malta, others kept coming back to assist the Osiris. This time, everyone were giving all they could to prevent the worse from reaching their beloved homeland.

The second was a massive energy spike around the area of the Battlestar and the Spyglass. A rift in time and space opened up, a phenomina known to humans as a hypergate. The fighters docked with the larger ships in order to travel though. Anything less then a cruiser would be litteraly shaken to peices and ripped appart in hyperspace, and gunboats would take heavy damage. Thus, the two battleships slid forward and vanished from that plane of existance. Only to re-enter the plane at a different point.

The Nomads turned off the containments and the gate collapsed. Nothing could bring it back, and no trace was possible. The only things in Alpha Unknown now were the AW, the still unnoticed spy sats, and the ever growing number of Nomads drawn to the promise of dead humans.

With the alien menace was now far away from Omicron Alpha, but the scenario behind was horrifying. Pieces of alien organisms were floating arround. Wrecked ships and guns, metal, pilot escape pods, batteries...

A transmission is received in the Osiris.

"Incoming transmission from Planet Malta. To all ships in range.
Good Work out there. We are dispatching transports to scan for survivors and tractor the excape pods. All the damaged fighters proceed to dock."

Inside the Osiris, commander Behemoth took a deep breath.

- Second Lieutenant Grapps, send word to Planet Malta...

"Transmission to Planet Malta. This is Battleship Behemoth.
We have been rescuing the ejected pilots. They are being looked after by our medical crew.
The ship is stable. We request permission to Dock."

- Message sent, Sir.

- Thanks. (I really hope that planet has some nice place... the Osiris is going to take a lot of time to get repaired.)

The Osiris is now docked in Malta.
Marines are the first ones to exit the Battleship. Large military vehicles, followed by tanks open a circular passage in the cardamine fields.
Tents are risen and soon we can see Medical facilities and Hangars being constructed.
Joe, with some Lane Hackers, meet with Behemoth in the field.

- Sir, the Outcasts are now taking care of their men and we are available to assist you in repairs.

- Thank you for your support out there gentlemen.
You may use our facilities.
This is Lieutenant Bohr. He is in charge of Engineering operations.

- Nice to meet you.
By the way commander, you might want to meet Kristy.
She has a nice place where you can relax.
It's only 20k from here.

- Very well. I want to thank the Outcasts for helping me.
Lieutenant Grapps, prepare a convoy to transport the treated pilots.
I am going to a place called Villa to personally thank the Outcasts.

- Very well, Sir.

- You will be in command untill I get back.

- Don't worry. It will take a while though.

- Lieutenant Grapps, meet Joe Mitharis.
He might help reduce the time taking repairs.

The convoy with the rescued pilots, Outcasts, Zoners, everyone who participated in the battle, leaves, with Behemoth, to the Villa.

Damian knew he was right, the time was perfect to kill Jack and in front of his friend, even sweeter.

"Hehehehehehehe i wont be long. Time to die dear brother."

*He fades out of the dimension he was in and into the one occupied by sirrius*

He draws his katana, it was one of a pair, the other pair was in the posession of Jack who was standing with an outcast woman in front of him, she was a pretty woman and would make a very nice addition to his special soul collection, after he killed her.

*He gets closer to jack, neither of them have realised he is here. He raises the sword to cut him down and end a battle many years old........
