Okay, first patrol went badly. I was flying from Texas to California to Ontario to Colorado and back, but encounter some control problems. Probably from the Rogues who ambushed me near the Texas JH. Those guys are really persistant, and, trust me, I know. So, I went to Riverside Station for repairs. Had to wait a while before the repairs were done. Anyway, when it was done, I undock to outside, only to be ambushed by a freakin' Hacker. Turk or Tusk's his name. Anyway, he blasted me to bits with freighter. Yeah, yeah, I know, I got blasted by a freighter. Or was it a bomber? I couldn't tell, as I was trying to get out of his firing range. I barely was able to get away. Now I currently in Texas awaiting even more extensive repairs to finish. If any of you guys find him, please, give him hell from me. Here's some proof of him blasting me to bits:

Body Of Text: Greetings, I left the hospital yesterday, and am returning to duty. Under which Squad will I be serving? And also, may I apply for a bomber?
Thank you,

Met up with some of your boys, and helped train a couple of them, S/D-Devil.Starr. and S/D-Stark. Both could use some polishing, and I've pointed Stark to an arms dealer that can fully equip his ship.
As its been less than a week, this ones on the house. In the future, I'll report all training sessions, along with proof, to this channel.

Sir,
To inform you of a situation I encountered today, I am filing this report. While moving Deuterium from GC in Omega-49 up to Deshima base, I was stopped by a BPA agent. BPA Stuart. Paddock informed me that Deuterium was a military item and that since there was a war going on it could not be shipped outside of Bretonian space. I tried to explain that I was using to resupply a BHG station that supplied us with alot of our weapons and ships but he was having nothing to do with that. I talked with APM HQ to get a destination for the Deuterium inside Bretonian space and was directed to Plannet Harris in Tau-31. I asked BPA Paddock for an escort, which he happily provided. Since I had never been there before I took the trade lane to the center of the system and headed to Harris from there. Now I am not sure what the dispatcher was thinking when he omitted the fact that Harris is surrounded by mines. After dodging the mines and outcasts was I able to land safely on Harris. I sold the cargo and quickly headed back to safer space.
The main reason for this message is to inform you of the seemingly new rules for certain cargo items that we carry. Hopefully you can speak with the BPA and BAF to resolve the issues or atleast get us the new rules for shipping.

After much deliberation and in an attempt to further my research here on Sheffield, I am formally requesting the commissioning of a new bomber, call-sign S/D-Menthe. There is a nice one here on Sheffield that I've been keeping an eye on. She's a little beat up but i say its just character and with the right kind of love I'll have her space-worthy within a day or so.

Well took the Cestus out for a spin today and performed patrols in both Cambridge and Cali/Texas regions. Got her Nav maps up to date and only saw the hind end of one potential target during the whole patrol. Seems to me all the bad guys are either on vactation or are staying well out of our way. Either way makes for a boring day. Currently docked on Houston since Bretonain space has been really quiet as of late. Got the Manta still docked at Cambridge. Tests so far with runnign 5 Reaver MkIII's have been very encouraging. Can fire all with out fear of draining the power core in the least. This is good since twin SN take most of the power to fire. So while waiting for recharge I can still properly defend myself.

To expand on Agent Starr' rather brief patrol report...
I was at Leeds when I noticed several S/D agents either converging on or patrolling in Liberty space, specifically Texas. I immediately headed that way, as I had received intelligence reports of increased slave activity in the system.
While passing through California, I saw an LNS cruiser order the lane hacker, Don_Maxor, out of system. I was able to get close enough to put one of the new tracer units on his hull as I passed by enroute to Texas. (Note to R&D - the range on those is quite nice - totally out of regular weapons range.)
Upon entering Texas, I headed towards Houston. I passed a ship carrying slaves, but was unable to get a good scanner shot of him. In the mean time, there was a VERY lost Corsair trying to head out of Texas system as well. The rest of the patrol - Agents Bobafett, Magusson, and Starr - were able to meet at the Hudson Jump gate ahead of him. However, there was a JUNKER sitting there - waiting to escort the Corsair out of Liberty space.
In the interests of not irritating the Junkers any more than needed, I did not order both of their ships destroyed. Caliban_Cringe, however, needs to be aware that he is playing with fire by publicly stating that he is a friend of the Corsairs, and not keeping it in the dark as they have for so long. This could inflame public opinion.
The four of us headed back for Houston in formation, and found Lameos there.
He had an ... interesting cargo.
Note his IFF - he's showing a ZONER tag with Smuggler ID, carrying slaves.
There was a HUGE amount of discussion with Lameos about landing back on Houston, dropping the slaves BACK off, or facing destruction. We refrained from immediately attacking him as he made no real effort to run. He also made no real effort to cooperate, either.
About that time the LN and DW showed up, just to make things more interesting. The LN is rather bloodthirsty about things.
Finally, Lameos docked and unloaded his cargo.
I had control issues and had to dock for a few minutes. Upon returning to orbit, I found the patrol up by the NY JG watching Lameos. I scanned him - he was empty - and I ordered the patrol to leave him alone.
Boba headed for California to pick up his bomber, while Magusson, Starr, and I continued to patrol Texas. About the time he got there, I picked up on scanners that Don_Maxor had returned to California as well. The three of us headed for California. Boba, with his headstart, managed to find Maxor first. He engaged him in assorted verbal combat while we closed in on him. Once we had him and had confirmed through scanning that he was a lane hacker, I ordered the engagement.
My ship received the most damage from the encounter, due to continuing control issues. However, none of us were injured, and we all rendevoused at Riverside to file the paperwork on the bounty.
