Thinking of buying it, but not sure. What I wanna know is if there's multiplayer/instant-action available, or if it's just story. Also, tell me what you think. I'm reading reviews, but I always prefer asking people I know about how a game is. Thanks.
If you played KOTOR before its ALMOST like it except graphic changes and your forced into a storyline, really though, dont waste your money on this game, either rent it, our just watch the cut scenes on youtube

Except KOTOR is good.
This is more like a Devil May Cry type game with jedis and a Star Wars theme.
I was hoping for something along the lines of Jedi Outcast, but was quite disappointed.
I'd say it's a rent, it's not worth buying.
I downloaded the demo for the PS3 and was somewhat less than impressed. The graphics were impressive, as expected from anything on the PS3 and a Full HD picture. Still, as we all know, graphics aren't at all important when comepared to gameplay and storyline. The gameplay seemed typical 3rd person stuff, so was nothing new. I liked the idea of playing as Darth Vader's apprentice, but not enough to plunk down US$60 for.
All in all, it's about as impressive as the Halo series. Not bad, decent, run-of-the-mill, and mediocre. Still, I might buy it for PSP if it retails at the same US$40 price as other PSP releases, and maybe for PS3 after they knock off about half it's price tag.
It got a C on both Game Informer and IGM however I played it and rather enjoy parts of it. Yes some parts could use a bit of tweaking but throw just about anything at your enemy is fun
Though I must say it was not worth the pre order and the $50
The PSP version is a lot of fun it's similar to god of war a bit easy to complete though but still I enjoyed it. The Jedi powers are maybe a bit overkill but that's whats fun about it.
Have no clue about the 360 version though but the Historic battles on PSP are cool as well.
I just beat the game and it was pretty freakin sweet! Some of the early levels are sorta tedious as you earn "points" so that you can upgrad your force powers but after that you get some pretty cool ones like detonate (push em back into their group and send an explosive ball into them. they explode taking their group with them) to Pummel (grab a guy and hold him in the air, swing the wiimote and all sorts of solid objects, including his fellow troopers, fly into him and crush him) to the eversweet Lightning (bzzt). some of the controls take a bit to master but that's ok, the basic moves are strong enough throughout that you aren't without tools.
The bosses are challanging and usually pretty unique. if a bit repetitive but that's sort of the nature of games. there are even some regular troops that will be able to block your saber and cause you pain. the big massive lightinging is your friend. ;)
one of the bigger problems was being able to grab the right item, but that just took a bit practice to get used to.
overall I give it a 9 out of 10. lots of fun but fairly short and the lightsaber controls leave a tad to be desired.
Note; I was playing on the Wii. I heard the PS3 didn't have a good chunk of the force powers.
P.P.S. Havn't played it. Too busy running over people in GTA4.
You fear oblivion. Yet you forget. The universe remembers every atom of your being. Even dust hums your name in the dark. Roleplay is dead. Long live Powertraders and PvP I guess.
