I don't remember ID i forgot whats in it now, i am not sure can zoner fighters/bombers land on any house bases if he is using Guard ID or some capitals? Just don't tell why would they land on house base, let say its just passing by to Kepler and pilot needs rest ( have to leave game , eat something like that ). I mean does that part of ID works only for traders or its every ship with that ID?

I have already switched from Guard to normal Zoner ID, but I recall that the Guard ID prohibits any vessel carrying it from docking on House bases and planets. A Zoner Guard IDed ship may land on GMG and IMG bases, however. So if a fighter has a Zoner Guard ID, that ship may only dock on a Zoner, a GMG, an IMG and presumably, an Order base.
However, I think some Zoner player factions may be getting exemptions to these rules, for example ZAS.
' Wrote:If Zoners cant trade with Houses anymore, then make the Corporate Traders not using the Jumpholes. Put that in their ID or some ****. Just as it happened to Zoner Guard.
By the way: Uhhh, what do Houses suddenly have against Zoners? Or on another Side, the Zoners?
Powertraders will take their Junkers. Or just get a mofo Corporate 5K Transport.
Zoners aren't too welcome in the Houses. There are almost no reasons for the Houses to even be neutral to them - they harbor pirates and dangerous criminals, and they aren't really a source of income either.
I like these changes done to the ID. No more annoying holier-than-thou-you-cant-touch-me-imma-Zoner whales, at least none in House space. Not that it'd really solve the whole issue of grinding, but at least it puts the Zoners back into place. The whole trading issue still needs to be fixed though - seriously, we're supposed to be a RP server and not a "grind for months to get your cap which you'll use to pewpew folks" server.

this statement is wrong.
by the ID - a zoner guideline is given and NOT ( i repeat ... "NOT" a house reaction guideline ). - houses welcome zoners. - why? - zoners bring valuable goods houses cannot find anywhere else - and zoners buy stuff - taking it into the edgeworlds - mostly for their own needs.
it is not houses that do not welcome zoners. it is zoners that do not like houses ( but regard them as a necessary evil when they need to get resupplies )
keep in mind, - it is not the houses that abandoned the zoners... it was zoners that abandoned houses.
the silly argument that zoners assist pirate factions is - excuse me - really stupid. for one - most houses don t even know where the pirate factions sit ( remember? hidden bases ) - how the bloody heck should they know that zoners support them?
the edgeworlds are literally a black hole to most citizens in the houses. ( yes - yes, factions like the LSF might know a little... but then... how much do they pass to the john doe trader making a deal with a zoner on planet whateveritsnamewas )
a house faction that takes the new zoner ID as a reason to unwelcome zoners is wrong. - not visiting house bases is the ZONERS choice ( per ID ) not the houses choice.
zoners on fp2 got in trouble for assisting unioners.
liberty doesn't welcome zoners and at 800 AS was thinking of outlawing them, something which just sort of got quiet in disco.
there's nothing that really says houses like zoners that I can find anywhere.
If you look at Bretonia recently, Zoners have been nothing but trouble. Corsairs in Omega 3 flock to the freeport if in trouble or about to get smashed up, then you get these random Juggs that somehow frequent Bretonian space in the middle of a war, causing large military assets to be diverted to ask what is going on and then to boot them out.
' Wrote:News flash: The much maligned "powertraders" are just going to go elsewhere. Basic reason: The bigger ships and top notch equipment are expensive. For a server that wants to promote rp, the elements of grind are oddly dominate. The mantra "We'll be able to control the powertraders' rp better if they're doing the corporate routes" is naive, at best. Good luck with that one.
I am surprised you do not realise, that was in fact the whole point.
Two of the major reasons over why the Zoner faction was hated so much from the start of 4.85 were OORP ones:
One of it was the constant cheese and whine over Zoner neutrality unsurprisingly constantly brought up at the table by a few bad apples and trolls that the Zoner faction happened to contract, yes.
But the other, more obscure reason was this: the Zoner power trading routes drained traffic from the houses. They drained it so well in fact, that house piracy was no longer viable. Many factions such as the Rogues, Gaians, GC, Unioners? Any faction that operates purely within the confines of a house. These factions suddenly had nothing to do. Sure, they could go out hunting for navy and then get lambasted on the forums over their lack of piracy. Piracy of what? All the traders are out in the edge worlds grinding credits for their Order carriers.
As we all know traders bring pirates, pirates bring lawfuls, lawfuls bring activity. No traders, no activity, no anything. Rheinland, Bretonia, Kusari? All pretty much empty in favour of Zoner power traders else where, who are dictating other players RP by flaunting their neutrality like a cheap excuse to escape pirates left and right. Many factions previously fairly popular end up semi-dead or dead altogether. Corporations are even less popular than they were in 4.84, further killing the RP of factions reliant on them. Lawfuls end up with nobody to fight, and the house depopulates in favour of Liberty or Omicron Minor. Hell, even the Corsairs depopulated in favour of Order lol wuts. It goes to show how bad the situation has become.
This wasn't a case of screwing over Zoners. It was a case of 10+ factions and three whole houses being screwed over by Zoner routes. Thus, the fix was applied. The fact that most Zoner players have no clue or idea what their RP is, or what their RP is meant to be was just a small part of the reason. You can tell us that we are dictating your RP for you, but unfortunately this server does not allow you to do anything you want. Thus, we have that right, and the admins have the right to enforce it if your RP is out of bounds of mod lore or good gameplay. And in this case, to add to the above, the good of the many superseded the decadency of the few. That's the bare truth. Now, the lot of you can stop moaning about the changes.
