Yes i know there are proably other thread out there with the same complaints and maybe ideas but i still decided to post this, seems its important enough and poeple might start getting it into there heads.

Ive been playing for 2 years now and the amount of capital ships is still increasing rapidly, and its getting harder and arder to be a unlawful force, cops have druisers and bigger to kill us, plain and simple, but as pirates we usually dont fly anything bigger then a GB because we cant pirate people. Getting sick of all the cops out there who gang up on you, a BS and a BC vs forces like fighters and GBs, think its getting out of hand.

Im not just complaining i think we need to fix it somehow, more expensive capital ships (as if they arent already expensive), Better bombers or more restrictions on the capital ships. None of these ideas are great, but for the sake of RP we need more unlawful power, the lawfuls are getting too strong and there is less unlawful activity in NY now, the cops are just sitting around in NY doing nothing.

Im not great with ideas but maybe some of you are, so any good ideas?

Correction: LNS, LN, and LSF in capital ships.

Police forces don't use capital ships often. The LPI has none other than the flagship.

the most popular answer seems to be putting capship in guard systems.

Bombers are already more than good enough as-is, you'll find 3 can quite adequately handle a fleet if they're skilled pilots and patient.

But I agree, it is getting out of hand. Solution? Just made a pirate in a destroyer/battleship and say it got commissioned to combat this very problem. I used to have an LR GB with the premise that its sole purpose was to engage Lib GBs and clear the way for pirates.

Yeah the LSF are mainly fighter/bomers and coming from yet another pirate GB pilot I am less than sympathetic, buy a fighter, lets see how good you are?

i thought capchips were vulbnerable to groups of small craft and gunboats?

after all i thought it was closer to proper rp for pirates to run around in ships up to gunboat size. and also proper for the military to have capships in large numbers. (their "big ship" mentality)

also -- i think admin has made sure there are pirate terrorist factions who do have the ability to authorise the purchase of cap ships by members. so the pirate cap ships are out there, it only awaits the permission of the higher echelons to releae them on liberty.

soon.. soon there will be open warefae -- but i dont know where or how but its up to admin to steer it so that ti doesnt get out of hand... i guess?

I iz the only active GB in the LSF XD

LSF and LPI shouldn't fly anything larger than a GB, imo

Wait, Wise is active too now, he got fed up of EVE ^^

Also would like to add, that this will just make the problem worse. PvP cannot solve everything, people will just see that more and more unlawful caps are showing up, and create more lawful caps.

There is no solution to this ( imo), there will always be cap ships, just as there will always be fighters, bombers, etc etc.. there is however, ways to handle it. Ex: Don't fight capships alone, avoid capital systems such as New York ( afterall, we are talking about the capital of liberty).

And i'm sure there are many many more ways to counter capital ships othher than just bringing more capships.
