Mmm, I would love to see mining become popular again... a mining mine with like 20 damage and a 600 meter blast radius and a refire of one shot every 2 seconds would do perfect for it. Then it wouldn't take 2 hours to fill a small transport. only problem is getting it to explode the second you drop it.
That's easy. The mine will seek the closest target, In this case, the ship that launched it, and explode there. If there is no other ship targeted, that is.

(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
Ok, I'm realy going to have to push for one of two things here...
1) Hitboxes on Battleships that allow things to hit it, but they can go through it (NPCs do it all the time  ).
2) Make asteroid fields destructible
Untill one of these happens, I am afraid the Oblivion might become a permanent fixture of the Malvada Cloud (Or whatever the big green one in Gamma is).
This is the real true story of rock and roll; it was not about anything more then, how to live your life, as a gangster, in sartorial splendor, and turning the world into a place where normality would never return again...- Malcolm McLaren

*snicker*
Or jus ask one of us to move it :)
Anyway, It looks like a player whipe may be necessary for 4.81 since some of the lag problems seem to be associated with the mod or the OS itself. I will be testing this theory in about a week or so when we "presume" a player whipe by moving all player files to another directory away from the server and see how lag behaves after that.

Well, if we have to, we have to. I hope we don't have to, but if we do all I would need is enough credits for a Large Train (For Kane). After that, I could earn everything else I needed (If that's how we go anyway, and not recompinsate everything for everyone).

If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
