Yeah there must be a typo as it is sold on Freistadt.
"The Viper Mk II is an advanced version of the original Viper. Developed by Toledo's engineers, this very heavy fighter is built by Gas Mining Guild and Zoners. Regular civilian pilots rarely use this ship due to its high price and high maintenance costs. However, the Mk II proved reliable even in the most dangerous combat situations, and many freelancers consider this ship worth its price."

We feel that you're RP has deviated too far from the cores of the GMG, had you elected to play a splinter group this may well have been fine, but you chose to play as the whole GMG and the direction you have taken is not what we consider to be appropriate.
Your interactions with other players have been poor
Rule number 10 in your proposal has been violated by your own faction leader and not been enforced
Your use of capital ships is again against the core values of the GMG, who rely on stealth and tactics to win the day.
Your ingame interactions are littered with OOC chat, which does not set an example per Rule 4.6
I suggest we look over this carefully, and act accordingly.
EDIT: Damn, triple post. Sorry. I do think one large cruiser/battleship as a falgship wouldn't be out of line, though I would ask Del about that first, since he and the admins didn't seem to like how caps were being used with the "GMG-" players.
I see. It would be Transports with Fighter/Bomber escorts with Patrols needing to be done in pairs or more.
(usually asking for it flying solo in the border systems)
I use small combat ships anyways as a preference.
Kusari transports seem to have plenty of turrets as well as the miner.
Plenty for a trade faction.
Quote:The Guild soon began their contact with other established factions, including the Corsairs and their famous artifact run offering. After the Corsair and Hogosha betrayal however, the Guild deemed the faction as unfit for business and all Corsair and Hogosha ships were declared as hostile. The GMG quickly began dealing in other commodities as well, with their vast trading fleet providing transport for many goods on their way back to the gas miners.
Quote:The vast silent glow of the Crow Nebula remains to be the symbol of power for the Gas Miners Guild. Even with the heart of the Rheinland armada floating endlessly into the abyss of the nebula. Hardship continues to strike the heart of a people shattered by war. The effective use of the guilds knowledge of the sigmas has displayed to rival the experience of the corsairs and outcasts which now influences the simgas. Still weakened severely from its conflicts with the Rheinland Military, the guild struggles for its freedom. Kusari offers aid to the gas miners but are refused by the guild. Fearing an allliance with Kusari will cause the guild to lose its independence the guild council calls for aid from its allies. Zoners light years away could not risk taking their eyes off the war between criminals. Stranded and helpless to fight off against the threats at home. The Gas Miners Guild ventured deeper into space away from society. Lacking the proper vessels to make their journey to new levels. The Gas Miners Guild looked toward the otherside of Rheinland for assistance. Allying themselves brother miners of the Independent Miners Guild began the start of a new era for the Gas Miners Guild.
With the glory of the guild restored and power strengthened. The first squadron of the Gas Miners Guild Guadian ventured into the vastness of the Crow Nebula. Adapting their ships specifications to that of the nebula with the help of the Kishiro industry. The guild used their new found power to restored order to the mining operations located in Sigma-13 and Sigma-19. Supplied with the proper technology operations moved to recover the wreck of the lost battleship Namura captured during the 80 Years War. With the rise to arms the gas miners reflected the defeated warmachine floating in the heart of the Crow Nebula.
(Its been over 200 years since the 80 Years War with Rheinland. Over the years of this time the Gas Miners Guild has developed into the warmachine that floats in the graveyard of its home. As it fights to regain its strength and authority in the sigmas, the GMG fails to see the dark path taken. Its Guardian warriors have turned from common guild men to military officers. The Guild Master sends fuel shipments more into the guild's armada than the shipments fuel into the Kusari. Holding the primary source of fuel in the Sirius Sector within the safe guarding of its borders. The Gas Miners Guild has proven it is the dominate force in the Crow Nebula.)
More good info from the old proposal intro. Although I would think long and hard about making the next faction much more trading oriented, and much less a military force. Of course, changes can happen.
