From: Raul Sanchez To: All 101st pilots Subject: Command structure Priority:High
After a long revision of our command structure and ranks, the High Command made changes and assigned new ranks. Any questions and requests can be sent to the High Command.
The new command structure and ranks are as follows:
Fleet Admiral (One) The overall commander of the 101st. Orders from the Fleet Admiral must be obeyed unless over-ruled by both admirals and two thirds of active Captains. Can fly any ship allowed.
Admiral (Two) The two Admirals report directly to the Fleet Admiral. They each council the Fleet Admiral and aid in making decisions. Any decisions made by them can be over-ruled by the Fleet Admiral. Can fly a fighter, bomber, gunboat and a destroyer without authorization, and a battleship with authorization from the Fleet Admiral.
Captain (Six) A Captain has proven his worth both in commanding and flying. Can fly any fighter, bomber and a gunboat without requiring authorization and a destroyer with requiring authorization from the Fleet Admiral or both Admirals.
Commander They can command and order Prospective Officers and Lieutenants and Cadets but every rank above them can over-rule a decision they make. Can fly any fighter or a bomber without requiring authorization and a gunboat with authorization from the Fleet admiral or both Admirals.
Lieutenant Lieutenants is the first step towards the command structure. Chosen from the promising Prospective Officers, they are given the task of commanding Prospective officers and Cadets in space. Can fly fighters and bombers without requiring authorization and a gunboat with authorization from the Fleet admiral or both Admirals.
Prospective Officers Prospective Officers are the core of the fighting force. They are the most common rank one can encounter. Can fly fighters and bombers without requiring authorization.
Cadet Cadets are those that have very recently joined. They have yet to prove themselves worthy, and reliable. Can fly fighters and bombers without requiring authorization.
Greetings, Arthur Dgahr here, my apologies to the high command, for not using my 101st flagged ship, yet the recent happenings of this month kept me from practicing the standard combat maneuvers when in a fighter. Not to mention the constant need to leave the noted ZOI is safer with an untagged vessel, so not to bring troubles upon the 101st as a whole, or myself.
There are indeed a few things that are needed to be told, one of the recent encounters with the Harvester units proved to be rather interesting, and as soon as the data is processed, i shall transmit it to the respective personal.
The current cycle was rather full of encounters, almost 2 hours after undocking from Ibiza i was assaulted by an unusual quantity of static caused by one or more vessels near Malta. Soon enough it all cleared when a scan over a smuggler in a Borderworld transport revealed corsair weapons.
After the pilot got rid of them, we picked up a Corsair raid wing in Eta, the quick reaction proved to be good enough to gather a defense group consisting of a few SOB members and a few independent Outcasts.
The raid wing had two Corsair gunboats and a Taiidian bomber.
While we lost three ships, the raid was taken down 10k away from Malta.
The day passed without many other conflicts before two more corsairs decided to fly through Alpha, hoping for a easy target..sadly for them, they were intercepted by a Gunboat, a Sabre and a RM-1 destroyer.
Hostiles were engaged near the Hispania.
One of the Titans flew right into a dragonfly missile with tragic results, while the other fled to Eta, then to Theta.
That does sum up the report for this day, still, the last month bore many surprises and a few i shall now show.
First of all, after following a potential corsair raid party, me and my wingmates soon found ourselves in Theta, where the comm units picked up a rather interesting chatter between some of the corsairs.
I do not know if the rumors are true or not, but if they are..well...some interesting battles are sure to come.
A few days after this encounter, another disturbance visited us and was taken care of.
This hunter surely took these fine fighters by surprise but paid the ultimate price, our and our Allie pilots were returned to safety short after.
A few days ago, sadly, i must report that i was forced to take down an Outcast vessel, the foolish man was sighted in Omicron 90 killing the Spirits and i could not allow him that. He did retreat back to Alpha when pressed, yet after he declined my request to drop the Spirits he had ''harvested'', i quickly took care of him.
Speaking of which, soon after i found a similar problem after i came face to face with a zoner capital ship class vessel. It had a Spirit in its hold that i requested to drop and to leave Alpha space as soon as possible.
The pilot complied and was soon on his way.
*he sighs* so indeed, a rather interesting month has passed and these are the more bright things i have seen so far. Hopefully soon enough i shall renew my training in the Sabre, but until then, it is still brand new and docked on Ibiza base.

Greetings, my friends, today was not an eventful day as it promised to be at first, i took the time to finally do some friendly sparring with our fellow GC in her red catamaran. Seems like i was lucky this time and our admirals suggested tactic of combining nuclear mines with a train cruise disruptor did pay off.
Soon after, though, {SOB}Pendragon notified about a blood dragon harming the ''Spirits''
The Sabres wing cam is very good i need to add.

We started our mission near Cella Dor. We follow our Orange Dream, our treasure…
So, Crosairs legion was ready for battle and we too. Battle was so long, and leader of Corsairs, invited our leader, Lohingren, on duel.
RoS commander won on this dance of death and we continue battle. Our brave pilot, Chandra, took sacrifice, and in result, one cruiser fell.
Death, death, death.
Then we had killed other Crosairs:
LoneStar_1
[HS]-Eagle
[OPG]-LordRaviel
Scarlet
Vykk_Draygo
And last our target was Dariano[LT]
All enemies was destroyed. We won in this battle. We protect our Dream.

Honorable Admiral
I just want to submit the report about our clearance "campaign" at Sigma 13.
During the fight with the bounty hunter battlecruiser (callsign: Kuun-Lan) i recognized another hostile contact near the trade lane to the frankfurt jumpgate. As it got in range to my target the IFF signaled a =CR= ship (Trader class), me and a dragon fighter (callsign: Implosion) opened fire at once. Further below target was destroyed

A sad day pilots, always a sad day when one of us takes the wrong path. Arthur Dghar! Remember his name and his mistakes, remember so you don't make them.
There are laws we made, and those laws say: "All Outcast brothers, whether in the independent military, or factioned soldiers are to be treated with equality and respect, punishment will be given if broken"
"Also it is time to enforce the 10 k radius around Malta, and 5 K around all other bases. No lesser or greater Guardian will be allowed to breach that radius"
Arthur broke both of them. He allowed the 10 k radius to be breached by multiple ships on multiple occasions. Such action endangered Malta and our civilian population. Not only that but he attacked and destroyed a ship piloted by a loyal outcast captain. The captain escaped death but his ship was destroyed beyond repair.
His actions will not be tolerated, and he is to return his sabre to Corsica as soon as possible. His gunboats are not under our command and he is allowed to keep them. Arthur Dghar is to remove all 101st insignia and leave our ranks.
He choose to side with nomads, and not with Malta...
This decision was made and signed by the 101st High Command.

Cadet Aurora Errera, reporting in. Few minutes ago we had a Corsair invasion to the Sacred Omicron Alpha.
The Corsairs gathered a fleet, containing a Praefect class cruiser, M26 class Gunboat(I suspect there is some empty space in the minefield; We need to check this I think), and several fighters and bombers.
We quickly gathered a defensive fleet, including:
{SOB}Skull-n-Bones

El.Peregrino[101st]

While we were gathering the forces and making the plan of battle near the Mallorca, the Corsair ships showed up.

We had a mighty Dreadnought on our side - so their capital ships went down very fast.

Soon enough after loosing the capital support, corsairs fell one by one to the particle rains.
To the end of fight, we've received several reinforcement fighters, and this made us victorious in this battle completely.

Subject: Bounty Hunter battleship at Beta
Greetings Admiral
Today we purged a threat at Omicron Beta.
Shortly after I launched my fighter for my daily patrol I received a transmission from Chandra. She informed me about a bounty hunter flying through Beta (callsign: Megiddo, Battleship class).
So our attack group (Chandra, Executioner and myself) enter Beta and started to engage him. After we lost Chandra I decided to call for backup and a few minutes later 3 more vessels arrived at beta.
Alvaro Ramirez (101st)
Sarah Dattaglia (101st)
{SOB}Forgotten.Soul[A]
Now we were able to quickly hunt him down. His ship was destroyed and the outcast pilots, who were kept imprisoned in his ship had been brought back to Malta.
Unfortunaly we lost Alvaro during the fight but his escape pod had been collected an he was brought back to Malta safely.

After a very long and successful service in the 101st admiral Cordova left the position of second in command of the 101st, and retired. His flying and commanding skills will be missed.
Captain Jameson will take his place, and to that end he was promoted to an admiral. Admiral Jameson will also take the position of second in command.
After an extremely long and successful service cadet Basilo Alejandro was promoted to a rank of prospective officer.
Congratulations to promoted pilots and good luck to our retired admiral Cordova.

Greetings, my brothers. Upon having great pride in my shiny Sabre, today was the day it received its first scratches and battle scars.
As per request, i traveled to the independent worlds between Liberty and Kusari to meet up with a few Lane Hacker merchants to purchase some new weaponry for our bombers.
While i took the route through sigmas, as i returned home, i decided to return through the Taus, i guess this was a lucky day for a few pilots, since, as i neared the jumphole to Tau 37, my scanners picked up a neutral vessel bearing a military transmitter and a military ID. Since this ship has never been to Liberty systems, i guess the board computer did not recognize threat in the particular transmitter code, that will be fixed as soon as possible.
***Uploading data***
The armored transport was not even attacked by our patrols, as i neared it, while a scan of the ships hold revealed this
***Uploading data***
The transmitter as well, of course.
As you can see, the commander of said vessel had captured two pilots, and upon asking to drop them, instead the man decided i ignore three warnings, the fourth was a warning shot, that he immediately returned.
Well...i must say that it took me quite a while to actually take this armored transport down, a carelessly launched cruise disruptor hit a fellow outcast, which, taking it as a hostility from my side, attacked me.
The vessel, however, was disabled and the pilots were tractored.
The commander of the transport and the crew were picked up by a IMG vessel, of all things, yet since my ship had suffered some damage, i decided to leave him be, hoping that he will not return.
After i handed the debilitators over to the 101st armory, I went for a small rest in the local port pub.
After a few hours though, a transmission from a friendly smuggler reached me, asking for guidance, the Borderworld transport waiting in Tau23, it seems that there were some CR in Tau37.
After a long range scan, it turned out it was merely one Viper Mk II and a Miner.
I headed out to keep guard near the jumphole to Alpha, the smuggler was not attacked, so, after being told that the two vessels were near Falkland base and not posing a threat, i did not do anything.
I spent about a hour near the jumphole, simply wondering what were the CR up to, soon after, another Viper had joined them.
It seems that the SOB reacted quicker to this possible threat and soon enough i was accompanied by SOBs JollyRoger and Unholy1. After explaining the situation, they too did not seem up for much of a fight, but it seemed that the CR had other plans and approached our location while taunting.
Ofcourse, this was unacceptable, so we engaged them both.
Soon after, though, another viper joined in on the fun, yet it was quickly disabled.
My apologies to SOB JollyRoger, whose Sabre was almost destroyed by my nuke mine, again, my training has only begun, i just hope this wont happen again.
JollyRoger, though was quickly transported back to Malta by an unknown vessel, it was either an outcast patrol or a smuggler or a zoner, it was hard to tell by this point. SOB Pendragon, though quickly provided backup and soon enough the last of them fell.
My vessel was a bit battered up after this, yet it was repaired right there on the Freeport.
This wasn't a really eventful day, yet at least our Falcatas have a even more wider choice of weaponry.
