Faction Idea: Pan Galactic Travel Company

Pan Galactic, or PanGal, would be a company loosely affiliated with OS&C, whose business would be moving passengers. That's it. Passengers, VIPs, and limited Food Rations and Luxury Food. They'd use liners and retrofitted transport-type ships, would probably hire escorts instead of having a dedicated escort division, and would be unfriendly/hostile to pirate factions and particularly slavers

I obviously can't run it, as I have the organisational skills of a scatter-brained stump, so it'd need a good CEO.

Tag would be PanGal|Ship.Name. IFF and ID would probably be Orbital Spa.

Ideas?

well... sounds like a trade faction.

You wont be able to get official status most likely since you arent taking directly after an npc faction. The problem you'll have right now is finding people who want to join, since passengers and food arent generally the best commodities out there. That will change with 4.85 though when trade routes are rebalanced.

Actually, one of the trade routes I was using for the Cerulean was Passengers and food - Luxury Food from New London (I think) to Manhattan, and Passengers from Manhattan to New London.

Not the best, but certainly a good route.
