I think the problem is that most of the Corsairs are in timezones which would see this battle slot taking them past midnight if the battle lasted as long as such large set-piece battles usually do.

Well most of the RHA pilots are in European Time zones....

I've been mulling over this for a while and it seems that both RM vs Hessians slots have a bit problems with attendance.

So long story short. Should or could we use one these regular slots for an event? I had in mind something like a basic supply convoy:

RHA transport Raeuber flies with pulse speed from Bruchsal in Frankfurt towards Dresden JH carrying, of course, VITAL supplies for Vogtland;)

Then the pretty regular destroy the protecting hessians ships before taking on the transport itself would be a good basis which to agree the ground rules for engagement.

Maybe we could for once bring out those Cruisers we have. Who knows.

So what do you think? It would be at least something different than the regular cat fight:P

Been longing for something like that. Two fleets containing the odd cruiser and two or three gunboats, with fighters and bombers swarming around. Haven't been in an event like that for ages, not since the Bs stopped sending fleets into Liberty.
