Ahem. Jura is doing a damn fine job and a better job that I was at that. Shut your mouth. You have no right to talk, you couldn't run this faction if the membership actually liked you.

I'm not in a popularity contest or your aunt bertha's hog of the year farmstead beauty pageant my dear boy so who does like me and doesn't is meaningless to me.
Jura is doing a fine job "better job that I was" like you said but Jura is still learning how to run a faction, my previous statement stands. Good day.

nah kindred mate you are wrong, jura has done a fine job of getting 101st on their feet... eppy was also a "fine" leader, he just had is tendencies to go on power trips (sorry eppy tis true i mean it in no way a dig)... though since jura has taken over, he has led them fine... they have been getting slowly and slowly more active, to the point they can even outnumber our forces at time.... ofcourse RoS's forces aint as big as the eta days but we can still pull a force out if need be. honestly kindred he is new to the leading job but now he is handling it better than some other leaders around here.

Yeah, but as a Corsair player, I can say that when the rest of my battleforce is wiped out, and I'm by some twisted play of fate, left alone outside Malta, I'll be worried if I see the ROS arrive. If the 101st arrive I'll near enough wet myself:PReputation - they haz it.

Also, I've noticed that there is alot less Hispanic RP from the Outcasts than the Corsairs. I can say that as a Corsair and from my 'eyes and ears' in Alpha. Outcast players seem to give off Scotish vibes for some reason...

No contest, no argument, no complaints against Jura. Jura is doing a excellent job as the new 101st leader but is still relatively new as a faction leader, that was what i was trying to say.
It was not a attack, flame or insult so don't get defensive on me.

I think the reason is just the nature of the society they're supposed to be RPing. I know, as an Outcast, that we prefer to see ourselves as very refined, growing out of our cultural roots and taking on a more sophisticated air, which many of us associate with an aristocratic Englishman (or, in Lohingren's case, Scotsman:lol:). After all, we're not human; we've evolved above that species (or at least that's how we like to see it:laugh:). The average Corsair, on the other hand, is RPing a much poorer, hungrier, down-and-dirty kind of character. A Hispanic accent lends itself pretty well to that image (stereotypical as it is).

As for Epyon's leadership skills, he's the one that showed me where to buy my Scimitar. His recruiting pitch was pretty convincing, too, almost enough to make me throw off my freedom obsession and sign up:laugh:He was nice guy, whenever I saw him online, which wasn't often (and he usually got a little sarcastic when I asked about people he didn't like...) I imagine Jura's just as good. All three of my experiences with him have been pretty good. He's calm and good at getting his message across to people, which is something I don't think Epyon was good at when he was in a bad mood, and he's a good pilot, from what I can see. He always seems to get kills;)His leadership skills shouldn't be in question. Inexperience doesn't mean incompetence.

...OMG, I can't believe I just typed that wall of text:(I need to go outside...

That thing thrusts nearly as fast as most ships cruise, its impulse is as fast as your thrust, and it strafes faster that you can imagine.
EDIT:It also turns just about as fast as the Starflea. And the Starflea turns fast.
Stilleto is very nice looking, but I prefer the Scimitar.
Yeah, it's workable. You just need a good bit of skill to pull it off well. It's also very flat and thin, which greatly aids in strafing and dodging. And, to top it all off, it's the sexiest LF in the entire game. :ylove::cool:

The whole point of the post was a reference to the fact that he did attack a camera ship.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

I really wish BLS would be more active and out there on my time slots. Especially when it seems the most appealing in the sense. But at the moment I'm looking for more structured and active parties. I just can't find time or energy in me to try to revive factions.

I'm already doing much of the flying alone so I'm looking a bit more company.

But, but...

we'll see.

Flying under radar.

You swear your *** off doing it, but if you manage to get through 100, you know you're good. ;) I tried that, when I set up my now retired 101st char. Ended up just buying the camera ship off the Isis... which is actually an awesome way to get to places.

Exactlly the same thing i did with my 101st Bomber, all though i had to ask for directions from a big LABC in Alaska xD

If your flying alone, head down to Beumont or Cape Wrath, i've normally got my Outcast indie in his Scimi down there.
