Bombers need:

Reduction in armor

Reduction in bats

Slight reduction in turning speed

Strafe reduction

Then, balanced.

Gravedig is because I had the ability to speak my mind.

Reasoning is for balance. i don't know numbers. I'm not saying huge reductions. But reductions.

Its that, or boost other things.

Peh, who needs a BS anyway! Cruiser class is win in every way. 2 fighters 1 bomber and a cruiser can take a system easy if they work together.

Rheinland is littered with the rusting wrecks of Bounty Hunter Battle Ships and Battle Cruisers from teams similar to or smaller then that.

-quick edit- I really think that the vast majority of bombers are fine the way they are. The ones that are not are well known to all and I believe are being fixed as we speak. Do you really want them all to be cannon fodder like the bargy and the thor? The RM bomber, however, needs to be made of construction paper and tooth picks.... I am tired of getting pwned by a pack of 'em.

You know, its not hard to make a Completely Anti-Cap gunboat, or a Completely Anti Fighter battleship, Its just with the weapons you choose. Unless you change the turret slots, nothing can be done about people making anti capital gunboats...

A completely anti fighter BS will still fall to three bombers who spent a fraction of what the BS captian did. We need effective cap ship missiles, add 200 to the speed and make the range 5 k since that is how far bombers run to when they shield run.

And enforce ramming rules, don't ignore them..

it isn't called a 'bomber' for nothing it got to be able to take down a battleship with at least 2 of them
