Howdy folks,
Not sure Ames qualifies. It's one of yours though, right?
Anyway, some damn terrorist attacked some innocent guy passing through. Name of Johnny.
Shot his ride out from under him. I manged to pick up his pod and emergency docked with the station. Theres no telling what he may have done to me if I hadn't.
I left the pilot with your med teams, hope is allright now,
Gomen for the interruption to your daily delights!
Sasaki Nozomu here! I would like to report a case of accidental discharge of weapons within the "no fire" zone of your Tau-29 Freeport. 6, yes? Wonderful place, by the way. You always stock the finest sake! All you need there now are Geisha, some silk pillows, a little incense and maybe.. lose the strip lights? Some paper lanterns would give a far better mood, no?
Oh, gomen. I have digressed! That accidental discharge of weapons I mentioned earlier was perhaps not so accidental. After all, my shields vanished quite abruptly. There I was keeping a slaver company within the "no fire" zone and all of a sudden he opens fire! I almost dropped my sake saucer in surprise!
I didn't, though. I finished that sake, and then rose to the occaision!
Here is where it all gets a little sticky. I was forced, after attempts to persuade the slaver of his silliness, to deal a blow against him. Within the "no fire" zone I implemented screamer mines, those are the ones that only damage the shield of a ship, I figured it would be best in such close proximity to so many I have come to know and love, and lust after. I also used a Supernova cannon. Of course, my aim with the Supernova was such that not a single shot went astray and all were loosed into the shields and hull of my aggressor.
This "U69", a pirate train, moved away from the freeport in many attempts to escape. Once we were a safe enough distance from the Freeport, to ensure no stray debris damaged the fragile station, I peeled his ship from around his chubby self.
The following are stills and audio excerpts from the encounter.
This is not an apology, nor a request that you hunt this slaver and smack his hand. I am providing information of the event. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Good Afternoon Sir,
Indeed! Ames is one of our valuable stations. All normal Zoner policies apply to this station. You know what? Consider these folks with similar hostile to at least the ZTC. I personally have had to defend myself while traveling to New York. I can't he lasted very long against me. *Flexes* Now, I've normally not had a problem with any of these Xenos. But these X-name-X fellows have got to get the boot. I'll consult my fellow Zoners and make sure this is a sound decision. Thank you for your concern.
Best,
Frank Zamboni, (]c[)"

"Good afternoon!
First, I'd like to express my sympathy for taking fire within one of our no fire zones. Also, I'd like to remind you it was not wrong of you to fire in self-defense. I hope you had made sure those slaves were released on the Freeport after the destruction of the ship. Fortunately for you, we've had to deal with this particular fellow once before. He had... took it upon himself to steal one of our specialized transports in our most high security shipyard. This guy is crafty. However, we had the vessel returned.. forcibly. Now I see he has the audacity to fire on the KNF within our No Fire Zone? Not only that, but a cloaking device!?! This guy is crafty! I'll make sure some of my Zoner colleagues take a look at the submitted evidence. I'm pretty sure we know how to handle this.
I am glad to hear you enjoy our facilities. I just about spilled my coffee when I recieved this report actually. I'll make a visit to Freeport 6 within the next day. I'll check the secured logs recorded on the station, as well as lighten the mood up a bit on the station. No doubt, I can put up some fanciful lights of the sort, and put in a word for some special pillows for guests on request. As for incense, that must be requested too, some folks like myself... get itchy eyes from it, no offense. Ah just the tought makes my eyes water!
Today, a Unioner transport and a Rheinland military ship severely damaged Freeport 2, situated in Bering.
I arrived to a call of some Unioners at the Freeport. They respected the no-fire zone, until a Rheinland Military by the name of Boki arrived. He flew a bomber-class vessel, of Rheinland Make. As far as I know, this person was already violating the NFZ, by hiding in it's protection.
Not long after, and ESS Convoy vessel #14 arrived. Not wanting to leave the safety of the NFZ, it stayed. This vessel, being harassed by the AU ships, led me to issue a warning, to try and quell mounting hostilities.
The "Rheinwahr" began taunting the AU, calling them girls and other petty insults. I did not notice him hide behind my weapon-less Griffin until it was too late. The AU began firing at Boki, with me caught in between. I barely managed to escape before my hull cracked.
Boki, in retaliation, fired a poorly aimed SNAC, which impacted the Rheinland-oriented docking module, severely crippling all operations related to it. The turret fire from the Zevronen impacted the Rheinland-oriented biodome, depressurizing it's contents.
Between the biodome and docking module, there have been 12 confirmed deaths and four injuries. Luckily, Zoner authorities were able to clean out the offenders quickly.
I am staying on-station to assist with repairs. I hope that this station can be restored, but it will obviously be a lengthy and expensive proceedure.
Edit: Camlag made me miss the SNAC cloud, since I had only just turned around after fleeing that I saw the SNAC cloud.
Quote:No non-Zoner may use Zoner facilities as bases of operations except with the explicit approval of the facility's owners (if they exist) or the CoZ.
Visitors who have business at a Zoner station are expected to dock, conduct their business and move on.
I would like the Council of Zoners to investigate the ESS, who seem to use Freeport 2 as one of their main base of operation, especially to strike against Liberty.
I would like to log a official complaint against the Outcasts known as "ESS", during raids upon their convoys in Bering (We use Pacifica, not Freeport 2 as a base and don't raid within the NFZ). We have noticed the ESS like to use your Freeport to mount counter-attacks upon us.
We would request an investigation to be conducted and we shall cooporate should you have questions.

I am no longer a member of the CoZ but maybe this will give some insight from the current leadership there. If the forces of Liberty and even Bretonia feel like there enemies are staging raids from Freeports, well, I'll let you read it for yourself:

Those are... unpleasant news to the Unioners and other groups who relies on Freeports to survive. So much for "Free"Ports. While the ESS are a problem, they mostly are to the population of Bering, in this case Unioners and their allies who often need to supply at Freeport. It is not a rare sight to see them taunting us there. While some of us try to be diplomatic with them, their answers often are gunfires, or attempts to drag us out of the NFZ. I would simply request a tighter security nearby Freeport 2 until this situation is over.
