With that which you say Tenacity, it could also be taken that no-one has spoken to the OC's or Corsairs about the nomads to find out whether they existed before the expedition.
The expedition at it's earliest would have been in 799 AS.
The infocard about Corsairs Malvad'ing and OC's sabre pointing as a tradition, would seem to suggest that it has been happening for some time, as I doubt a tradition develops over three years.
This happening for some time suggests that the OC's and Corsairs know about the nomads long before they were "discovered".
Well, game fluff does mention that Corsairs used to sell Artifacts long before the actual Nomad War began (proof of this lieing in the GMG-Hogosha hostility part of history), but if you review the campaign and what that female doctor archeologist said, as well as the Liberty overview article, humanity in Sirius (or at least Liberty, Outcasts and Corsairs) was perfectly aware that there were aliens around in Sirius at some point, but until the Nomad War nobody ever encountered *living, active* aliens. Thus, it is perfectly acceptable that the Outcasts developed their Nomad religion in the mean time.
' Wrote:In two years? (The original infocard states that they worship the nomads too.)
They had a pre-existing alien worship religion and simply applied that to the nomads when they appeared? Might sound a bit unrealstic/short time to us but it's a fairly common thing in games - for example the Unseen Ones in Guild Wars.
No longer active online due to a dwindling amount of non-PvP (trading, pirating, mining, etc.) fun in the new version.
I can only assume that the OC knew about the Nomads existance a good coupl of centuries at least before the rest of sirius. The Corsairs, I honestly don't know...
