Curious theory. Perhaps except that ant-like structure or all too obvious reference to xenomorphs and multitude of derivates. Got a slightly different but somewhat similar idea at the moment, but needs time to think about how it would all work together with everything else, and with stuff like power cell. Requirement of "organic seed" (or rather host subject) is tad problematic in context that they existed already before, presumably without a need of "host" specie. Too many questions, too few answers, but that's a normal work environment, a bulk load of most common ones have been worked out so far but plenty still remain to the puzzle. As largely it all moves back to the original DA's concept of Nomads these "infiltrators" (or "parasites", whichever you like) are but just a part of the bigger puzzle, plenty of components now. And while some things might remain without an answer at all (after all, being unknown it keeps them mysterious) but nevertheless it's interesting to think about.

Well the human thing DOES raise a question. Did the Dom Kavash create hosts for the Nomads in the past? Perhaps even use humans? The basic form of the Nomads is not conducive to a technological-building society. Small size, limited strength and appendages--the fact that they can take a host shows that they have weaknesses that require another to compensate for.
I like derivative (from nature) as everything is. There are no ideas that spring from nothing. Nature is generally quite efficient in design and is often hard to improve on.

Frankly I'm not to sure about that as it would greatly influence their role in the larger scope and more or less define their purpose, something that we'd prefer to avoid for the time being as it would leave little place to "maneuver", so to speak. Some parts should be left in mystery purposely, it helps to keep things pretty alien, unknown, strange. And some field for roleplay experimenting too.

Almost certainly everything one way or another derivate from it, but I would be aware not to do mere copying, otherwise things become all too obvious and fairly simple to figure out. Simplicity isn't something I had in mind, in fact quite the opposite is necessary.

Have fun--there is a lot of background if you really want to have a "theory of everything". Its a science fiction story in itself to define the Dom Kavash and their ilk. I just made a picture.
I am of the philosophy of, "Why understand Nomads? They die--kill them. No need for understanding."
Hahahaha.
P.S. My personal opinion is the parsite things would be only an extension of the "real nomads"--a mere proxy or tool. Now they would the interesting ones to develop but that isn't my field.

Hehe, you might be surprised to know that you are damn really close to the truth (based on what we're writing which in turn is based on leftovers and early DA concepts)... :-)
Wow! Awesome job on the renders! I bet some Keepers or Wilde would like those for their signatures. Good job on basing all of the information on RP too!
@ Treewyrm: You said you were planning on adding this to the Nomad lore, does that mean you're adding it to the downloadable PDF?

Oh yes, of course, with images (slightly altered though) provided by Tinkerbell and that part on infestation too (slightly edited too but still). Very good quality material to add. Surely some would want to know such things with anatomical details, so better have them in one place then, arranged and joined.
