Ill be honest i dislike this focus on equality in all cases. by nature of who they are some factions should be better equipped than others. of course the nomads should handily beat almost anyone except the order, and that corsairs and outcasts should have better weaps and ships than other pilots. i mean variety is the spice of life, there is no need to every faction to have their own class ten, or supernova. Its a pain because those without money or those that try and rp to the truest sense find themselves whether up against a Corsair or an Outcast, the same damn ancilliary weaps on them.
Also class tens should stay as they are. all the little pirate factions will always suck compared to the house navies. they dont need their own version of a code.

Oh about the Nomad weapons, whose to say they shouldn't get a boost? I mean they must be trying to get stronger with what they have right?
Why must the Corsairs and Outcasts get the best stuff? Oh, they are largest constant fighting factions? Perhaps.
I argue this, why don't the Bounty Hunters get even better weapons? They are the largest out there, large ZoI and large freedom. So why don't they get even more uber weapons following your argument?

I gave minor examples not every case. its the principle of the matter.
sorry that i didnt take into account every single faction in my post.
as for the BHG, the regular bounty hunters are basically the LR on a different side of the law. they are stupid, poor, and former criminals, if they had best weaps no house government would let them in.
the CORE can have uber weapons all they want.
----->jsut because there is a large ZOI doesnt mean that a faction is automatically powerful.

Take a stroll through the Omicrons, BHG will show you power in big signs of power with a capital 'P', or to us a capital ship...
The Core, yes is the most powerful of the BHG, they can and do get the powerful kit.
And you a partially correct on the "regular bounty hunters are basically the LR on a different side of the law", but there are normal people joining the BHG, military, police even transport pilots. Do you need read the pub rumors? Go to a bar man!
You have to admit, the BHG is very powerful considering they do not have their own planet as far as I am aware. Meaning they have to carve a living in space... Thats powerful to me. They have to buy everything they own, they don't mine resources as far as I am aware. Their power is bought, and advanced from within.
Now, every faction has the ability to improve their weaponry, even the Xenos. They may be a small and poor faction, but they must have stolen some useful equipment from the law or unlawful.
Look improve the weaps they may be able to do, but the houses will always be able to out R&D them. ---> leading to them having better weaps than most factions. the point is for there to be inequality, it forces pirates to hit and run and play dirty.
Also back to BHG, last time i checked no one ever complained about the BHG guns or ships, since they have it quite decent enough as is.
On that note you might say i prescribe to the old school thought of, 'if it ain't broke, dont fix it'

You don't see the big picture.
The BHG have it good now, but they HAVE to stay ahead of the competition, or the enemy. The Corsairs and Outcasts for one as you said, have very powerful weaponry, forcing the BHG to get good too.
But you think it'll stagnate like that? Its like a research war out there, everyone needs to develop better equipment to keep up in the kill or be killed world.
If the enemy gets better, you are forced to get better, then the enemy is forced to get better and so on an so forth for as long as possible.
I recommend reading up on the Cold War, look how much technology in the military advanced without getting into a fight. Heck, even in WWII, look how much weapons advanced in such a short period of time.
I think we should have Weapon Manufacturing factions [Like Ageira] but more widespread. Like we have one in Rheinland that makes their special weapons and so on....
Zoner and Civilian weapons could be open to anyone.
The Outcasts alliance... they have enough guns and ships as it is. Outcast Falcata + Inferno + SN + 4 Krakens = RUN AWAY!
Faction weapons ffor ships above Gunboat class:
ex. Liberty Battleship turret class 10
And you know how there's class 5 and 7 turrets?
Put a turret mount on every bomber and they get the class 6. [A Supernova nerf would be nice though. And maybe a Mini Razor buff...]

Pirates win, unless the Navies outnumber them 3 [or more] to 1. With the exception of the Rheinland Military, their fighter pilots are fairly good.

Haha... One, they're nothing like the LR, they have pilots from every walk of life. The LR has pilots who for the most part are poor petty crooks who have spent lots of time unpracticed aboard the Sugarland. Two, they're anything but stupid. They operate worlds better than the actual lawfuls. They know how criminals work, and that's why they succeed. And they're not a random assortment of random indy pilots looking for bounties to get by, they're a very well organized guild. They clearly have their own scientists, weapons developers, ship designers, and more. Three, they're anything but poor. Bounties are a good souuce of income. On top of that, they get relatively free workers by picking ex-cons up.
my idea is a level 10 gun for bounty hunters called desert eagle it will do 501 hull damage and 190 shield damage posibly tacyon or particle energy with a energy drain of 180
