As the scene around the Graves faded, flash's began to take there place, scenes of a young women laying on a metal bed, people jabbing her with all kinds of medical instruments, being left in a Radiation chamber. Dehumanised, forced to wear Hospital gowns, and eat Synth paste.

Then, the flashes stoped, It was her, sitting at the same cold metal table, her eyes where glazed over, sitting at the edge of the bed with her legs hanging off, there was an I.V attached to her hand filled with water. The rooms door open slowly, and a doctor walked in quietly. " Kristy how are we fealing today? "

She was quiet, she just stared at the wall, in an almost vegtable like state, she mumbled " Fine Doctor Ericks ", he grinned as he walked up to her, " feal any changes? " he asked. He looked at the inside of her elbow, is was blue and purple from so many Injections. " No Doctor Ericks " she replied plainly.

He set down his notepad, and walked over to a cart and wealed it to her side, It had scalples suringes, and all manners of medical equipment. " Today your gonna to recieve a double dose, then off to the Hot room for a few hours, doesn't that sound like fun " he smiled.

Everything ran smoothly, she got her injections with no hassle, she sat there limp at the end of the table, when another doctor came in. Though he swung the door wide open and yelled " Good Morning Doctor! " he smiled as he came through, but he hadn't noticed, what he couldn't have possible notice was the scalple that had just been thrown through his forhead, through his brain and impaled on the door jam behind him.

Kristy, her arm and hand in the position like it had just thrown a knife, was point straight at the vistor, she was shivering, she was deathly frightened to what she had just done, It was instinct, when he barged through the door, comething clicked.

He droped to the floor dead, " Interesting " Ericks commented, " very interesting indeed "......

The scene In the room fadded, then gradually a Indoor shooting Range, came into Focus. There where ten teenagers lined up on one side of the Range, fireing at Targets on the opposite side.

The Vision zoomed into Kristy, Then a Man walked up behind her, he had a bounty hunters Uniform on and a big Grin.



" Your Holding your weapon wrong, " he stated, he wlked up and shoved the rifle into her shoulder, " and squeeze the trigger don't pull it " kristy Nodded, lined up the site and squeezed, the shot rang out, and hit an inch from center. " See, pretty fricken easy eh, you shoot like your father. " she turned around in shock.

" How did you know my father? " she asked. He laughed, " hahaha, god they really did a number on you, let me ask you, do you know what you where doing last year.....last month...last week? " Kristy though, what a retarded question, " Of course I know, I was......was..."

" Not so easy huh, listen kid come to the bar tonight at Midnight, ill be there, and read this you'll understand. " he tossed her a CD case,then poped open a metal case and pulled out a Cigar and lighter, lite it and walked away.

That Night after training, she read the CD, It had information about project 99, To generate Human Nomad Supersoldiers for Rheinland and the Bounty Hunters guild from Sin|Tech. She read the Bios of each subject, and the procedures each had gone through. Then she got to hers, and read Doctor Ericks personal notes about the " Canaria " incident she memorized the names of all Involved.

For an Hour she layed in Her Bunk, pondering what to do, she was shaking with fury. She sat up and Put on comfortable cloths. And walked to the Bar.

There, as promised the Mystery man was sitting smoking, and drinking a beer. " Hey kid, I take It you read the files on the CD?" he asked taking a puff, " What are you planning to do? " Kristy asked. he pushed a piece of paper over to her, " Theres a Bounty Hunter Battleship that being loaded a Hyper velocity Cannon, codenamed Vegnagun and Ive got the access codes. " he smirked.

" We've already lost our chance to get all the CODENAME weaponry Bounty Hunters and Rheinland Fighters already carted them off, But If we can destroy the Labs on the planet and blow this station we should be good. " Kristy nodded, " What do you want me to do? " she asked.

" There's some alien Generator Tied in to this stations mainframe, Overload it and It will obliterate everything in 20 Kilometers, as for our escape, theres a Armoured Transport in one of the Hangers, and I've got crew that will get us out, and a Group of Corsair Centurions that will get us to the Omega-41 Jumphole, but come on we don't have much time. " He guzzled the rest of his drink and the two sprinted off.

The two ran to the Command Deck, there where Bounty Hunters standing guard at the Door. " The man turned back to kristy, " Ok time to see If you've learned anything in the sisteen years youve been here " he handed her a silenced Pistol, she grabbed it and took a deep breath, " The names Jecht bye the way..."Kristy looked at him confused, " What? " he smiled.

" My name, its Jecht " she smiled, " well, jecht Im Kristy " he smirked, " I know " he replied he motioned her to get to work, not letting her ask any more questions, she took a quick breath then, walked around the corner, gun raised, with two whistles the guards drop one with a bullet in the head the other the throat.

Jecht walked up, drew his own weapon and walked inside, there was only two people monitoring traffic, and where delt with easyly. Krist sprinted to Reactor controls and started bring the Primarly reactor to full power.

" Ok, a few More things and done! " jecht announced across the room, they watched as the Bounty Hunter Battleship Turned to face the Planet. a few moments later all the lights and engine went out, and returned in the form of a Massive Beam shooting from the Nose Of the Massive battleship. The amount of energy released sent a shockwave from the barrel shaking the station But Its shot was true....



The planets Atmosphere Ignited sending a wall of fire engulfing the planet. Oceans boiled and evaporated away, forests disinagrated. The Once mighty Battleship, its back broken from the Guns concussion exploded as its reactor overloaded.

Kristy, intiated the final command and activeated a reacot Overload. Alarms starting sounding On all decks.

Station Alarms

" I think Its time to exit this little play " jecht joked. As the two ran out of the control room, Jecht shot the Reactor controls. As they exited the command Deck, they where met by half asleep control operators. The operators watched the puzzled, on what they where doing there.

With everyone busy on what was wrong, they payed little attention to Kristy and Jecht as they made there way to the Hangers. Warnings where timeing down until overload, " Three minutes to reactor Overload ", " Two Minutes to reactor Overload "

boarding the transport at the two minute mark, there was no Time to get the hanger bays open, so Jecht ordered them to be shot out, after a massive explosion, they where sucked into the vacum of space. " Hit cruise and lets haul ass outta here " jecht barked, as the Transport entered cruise It was joined by Its Corsair escorts, " This is Aidian from the Corsairs, where here to escort you to Cadiz. " as they fled for there lifes, a blinding blue and purple Light envelooped the ship, the alien reactor had blown, and a Colossal shockwave was folowing them.



" HOLD ON! " the pilot yelled as the Transport was slammed out of control, as she tryed to hold on another jolt slammed her agains the bulkhead and all went black....

She Awoke On Cadiz, Jecht was reading a newspaper at the end of the bed. " Well, nice to see you awake there princess, did we sleep well? " he grinned, Kristy just glared.

He folded the paper up, " Come on, we have a lot of work ahead, we want you ready for whats coming ", Kristy rubbed her head, " Whats coming what do you mean? " Jecht didn't anwser he simply walked out of the room.

She put on some clothes, and walked out, she wandered the halls till a young corsair came up, " Ma'am Jecht said to meet him at the main observation platform. " she nodded and asked for help to get there, since she had never been here before.

Two elevator rides later she walked out on the large observation deck, a large glass dome on the top of the Cadiz asteroid. Jecht was stand in the center stairing up at the expansive asteroid field, " Do you know who I am? " he asked, she walked up to him puzzeled, " A corsair maybe I have No Idea. " he chuckled.

" Ohh come on, your not that dumb, I'll give you a hint, where related " Kristy was taken aback by the statement, " Related, are you my uncle or cousin? " Jecht Sighed, " No Kid Im your grandfather, though I don't look it, the Cardamine took care of that, I'll be sixty five this March " he turned and smiled, " though I wouldn't expect you to know hell your mother and father died hours after you where born "

Krist was very confused, what was going on, She didn't have any memories, of anyone, just the people at the Training facility, " Why are you doing this, making all this up what do you want from me? "
Jecht walked right up to her and and put a hand on each shoulder, " I'm here to make sure my grand daughter knows her past, and know what to expect in the future. " Kristy shuffled her feet, " What am I, whats wrong with me...." jecht let go then waved his hand twords the door, " Well where gonna find out, the corsairs where able to capture Doctor Ericks, the guy whos been experimenting on you, and was there when your parents died. "

Just then the door slid open, and a elderly doctor Ericks was being pushed into the room, " This is absurd! " he announced, struggling against the guards. " Doctor, so nice to see you, we have someone here who would like to have some anwsers " Kristy turned around and a look of dread came over Ericks face. " your fricken kidding me, I tell here whats going on and the experiment will be ruined! " jecht walked up and grabbed ericks wrist and twisted, and he welped in pain and droped to his knees.

" Start talking or I'll break every bone on your body starting with fingers and toes " he twisted a bit more, " OK OK OK !!! " he yelled. One of the guards pulled a chair up for the good doctor, he sat down, sighed and began.

" sixteen years ago, a group of deep range Sin|Tech ships came across some Ruins in whats now called the Newcastle system, when they went into the Ruins, they came across creatures in Hybernation, they where very strange, jelly like, with all sorts of weird contraptions and body chemistrys they had never seen before, they brought them back, and gave the creatures over to the R&D departments. Later that year they discovered Strange ships that where also in hybernation. "

" When they where brought to the labs, we soon dicoverd that these creatures, where of the smae Genetic makeup of the ships, we could only assume that they where the same creatures, only larger, more evolved. We dysected several of the creatures, and found that they had the same basic anatomy of humans, Lungs, heart, stomach, though there skelatal structure was semi-liquid, but yet alowed them to endure extreme amouts of stress with ease, we learned they where Telepathic, and could use telekenisis, but what amazed us the most was there photonic gland, It actually emited a low lvl radiation, and one small gland had nearly 400 Gigawatts of power, this was unheard of in a living being "

" But when we disected a ship, we found our anwser, there ships to also had a brain, heart Lungs and stomach, and found that the Energy gland had not grown in size, but in power, it was able to power the creatures propulsion, and also its weapon systems, The creatures seem to use a Mixture of telepatht and telekenisis to control it. What was more amazing is as we operated, the gland also emited a type of radiation that accelerated the healing process, regenrating the ship "

" It wasn't until our contacts in the Order, showed us photos of, what where called " Nomad " ships, there gunboats, Cruiser and battleship, The lab, and other doctors assumed that these where further evolution of a single Nomad. we document fighters of all sizes, which meant, like insects they would molt at a certain point, and grow larger, as there power supply grew, there power glands never stop growing, the Nomads evolve on a bases on how much power its putting out. If it putting out enough energy to support the next class of ship It will evolve to it. "

" What did you do to me...." she scowled and crossed her arms

" Well, after the deaths of your mother and father, we took you to Freishdat Research station in Omega-15, there we subjected you to constant injections of Nomad DNA, and doses of Radiation therapy, When you where about Ten, we put you under the knife, and Attached a Nomad Photonic gland to your ceribral Cortex, It bonded almost instanly, and soon you showed signs of Telepathy and Telekenetic abilities, your reflexs multiplied, your body ageing slowed, and you even started showing signs of control over you nomad body parts, you where able to Recharge 500 gigawat batterys in minutes, and you where even able to generate small ords of glowing light "

Kristy walked over, " So, am I going to turn into some nomad, with flippers and tenticals, and Morph into a space ship? " he looked right at her, " No you wont, Human bodys arn't capable of that right now, what will happen is that your body will continue to evolve, and all the energy that stored in that gland will someday need to be released, you'll be a hazard to yourself and your freinds, but you'll have abilities that few can even dream of "

The doctor stood up, " you'll be able to heal the sick and dying, form jumpholes out of nothing, and If u can manage it, Turn the energy you have Into a weapon " she looked over, " How will I know when Its happening " she asked.

" Ohh you'll know, but what will be noticable will be that your eyes will glow, the same as a nomads, though probalby green, your Irises aren't purple like a nomads, There might be a hair color change, and maybe others, but If you give in to the nomads power fully, your sense of humanity will not be there, see nomads might be capable of all these wonderfull things, but there very narrow sited, and narrow minded and focus on little things. "

As the guards picked up Ericks and started walking him out of the room,he turned back, " One last thing, your parents do you talk to them? ", kristy paused, " What do you mean? "she asked.

" I mean, when your asleep, or alone do you here there voices, or see there images? " Kristy shook here head no, " Shame then really, you might have been able to see them again " Kristy stoped dead in her tracks, with a serious Look on her face " What did you say? " the doctor nodded, " yeah If you where able to connect with them, then you would have a mental copy of them, there memories, fealings, then all we need to do............"

Bernards voice cut in as the vision blurred, " Is this gonna work, shes been asleep for about a week now......"
