that as well. But to be truthful, for me a sig doesn't have that many layers. A wallpaper, maybe. Sig... max layer I used was 37 I think.

Very good job for a first Sig card!
As everyone mentioned, Layers are the key. Try not to merge them into 1 layer , as stated b4, if you goof, less to fix. For borders & effects, I'm far lazier than Yue Fei. I use the Eyecandy plug in sets as well as Harry's filters & brushes, & a few other effects plug ins I have picked up some where.

I make them myself. Even a one pixel wide white or black border makes the difference sometimes. I usually favor transparency over borders, though. (As you can plainly see.)

A question about ship renders, I just modded a copy of my Freelancer game so I can take renders, but is there a faster way than having to spend time working up the money, and then buying a ship? Is there a way to make my character spawn with a certain ship? Only for render purposes of-course.
