Since they are using BSG ships here, why not a few wingcommander ones as well? Mabey just the rapier, the broadsword, the Kilrathi ship which i dont know its name, and the carrier ship that the main characters ride on in the movie.
I didn't realise that bomber would cause such an uproar.. I'll find a different model I can use then that is more "order" appropriate and not so "Starwarsy" but I'll do that tommorow.
Ok and I stand corrected on the Taiidan bomber it does have 2 torpedo mounts (Started my own server to test the ship)
However it has 6,300 less armor
65 Less bots&bats
The Rheinland Bomber has 2 more turrets
And it's manuvering feels almost identicle...
All in all I think if the Taiidan at the very least gets raised up to 130+ Nanobots & batteries it would be a good balance with the Rheinland bomber.. as it stands now though it barely holds more than the fighters.

Ok scrap the suggestion on the nanobots and batteries.. I just realised the Taiidan only costs alitle over 3mil so those issues are justified for the price.
I bought a Taiidan bomber on one of my chars and I think its a very nice ship. I always thought it only had 1 torp slot but I was plesantly surprised. I also like the Nova AM cannon alot better then the way it was before. ts funner having it as an energy weapon then a trop as it goes fast and you can hit the enemy Cap ships from farther away
I definately agree on the nova AM. the new "energy cannon" feature of it is really nice, prevents it from going haywire if a burst of lag hits too.. and bombers with duals and no ammo requirement are nice.
I flew my Taiidan vs The Hand of Payne (BH Destroyer) and won.. even with it's drawbacks (6.3k less armor, 65 less b&b 2 less weapons) It's still a superb little ship with a nice price tag. I actually traded in my Rheinland bomber for the cost of the Taiidan lol! So all in all I'm a happy guy right now. Especially since I'm a fan of the Homeworld series, especially numero uno.

Yes, No more Star Wars stuff on the mod please. I really hate all the SW ships introduced to the mod. Because they spoil the freelancer look'n'feel of the mod. They make it look like some kind of weird SW alternate universe. So if all SW ship's hull can be replaced with different ships, better.
There are some ships, like the hueggy, or the new outcast ships, that do fit the mod well. But the SW ships does not.
The kind of ships we need here are ships like the "RH bomber concept". That ship, although designed by a 3rd party, is so well made (respecting all RH design concepts and guidelines) that anyone who is new to the game would think that the ship comes from vanilla FL.
So please, no more Star Wars (Specially), Star Trek, Battlestar galactica, Lost, etc ships. They spoil the look'n'feel of FL universe.

B-Wing woulda been alitle over board on starwarsy-ness. There is one ship I was alitle shocked to see in here and that was the Star Destroyer sold on crete.
I'm not a good modeller at all, can only make very simple low poly ships due to lack of knowledge. My main skill is balancing pre-made ships with existing "rules" for the way the game already works.
