At 9:00pm local time Police Dispatch got a Distress call from a quite dellusional Trader about a corsair attack.
Despite his Condition his Message was true.
I accompanied a Military Fighter out to Counter this threat, which turned out to be a gunboat
we also had some help from a Volunteer Military Gunboat that was in the vicinity of us.
With the three of us fighting the Gunboat it had no other choice but to flee back into the Sigma systems.
We failed to destroy it but under all circumstances it was badly damaged and will probably need at least a few days work in an Orbital dock.

I received this from Bonn station during my daily briefing.
' Wrote:Let me first outline the scene, two IND vessels carrying Cobalt towards Bretonia, stopped by an incompetent fool of an RFP officer who demands our immediate removal from Rheinland space.
Now Interspace may be registered in Liberty but we are a Sirius Corporation, having offices in New Berlin itself.
How then is it sensible to demand an Interspace vessel or two remove themselves from A system in which we have a significant holding? For all the officer knew we were heading there to dock for the evening anyway.
If there is another demand for Interspace to remove themselves from Rheinland, we can assure you we will, and we shall remove insurance from all Rheinland Shipping companies to boot. Removal of Interspace would cost you a small fortune in tax as vessels would be easy prey for pirates, and no recompense would be forthcoming, and on the verges of war can you really stand to bankroll the insurance yourselves? I think not.
Do not take this lightly, for we are not. Interspace values it's unique relationship with the four Houses and wishes to maintain it. But more ignorance and stupidity of this kind cannot be tolerated. For both of our sakes, do the needful.
Oh and a necessary dressing down of Nikolai Deinhardt would be recompense for time lost I feel.
Officer Deinhardt, you have been recently promoted and been given the rare opportunity to try out a new enforcement setup and then I hear about this kind of stupidity. I suppose you were planning to tow in all of Bonn Station too, hmm? This is not acceptable and you are to be removed from the Wrath test program.
Register your Wrath at the shipyard and dust off that Phantom, officer. Further behavior of this sort will result in a demotion to cadet.
Let me remind all officers that we are keepers of the peace and the law. The law states that we are not to accept any non-human cargo from Liberty. That is all. Liberty corporations, especially ones so established in the sector, may pass if they are following our rules. I never thought I would have to spell it out but there it is.
Herr Inspekteur I believe that i have done my job too the best of my means with the amount of information and resources available to me.
And yet i get Chewed on by my superior officer for doing my job, i dont see the justice in this nor any reason as to why the Wrath Police Setup Program should be scrapped.

9. Liberty affiliated traders can only carry passengers into Rheinland. Ships containing any other cargo are to be turned back home under penalty of death. Destroy their ship if they refuse to take the shortest route home with their cargo on board.
This implies that all Liberty Traders are only permitted to ferry passengers into Rheinland space, a rule i upheld, Seeing as Interspace Commerce is a Liberty Based Corporation i see nothing wrong with the way i acted.
The Law book did not state that it was only from liberty controlled systems Mein Inspekteur, so i feel i am excused from this little incident being that i was not given proper Information.

Hmm...the rule book was recently reworked and that inconsistency will be corrected. It should be known that this rule applies to non-human cargo from or to Liberty. Cargo carried by Liberty trade vessels or any other lawful trade group may pass as long as they are not destined to or coming from Liberty with cargo. I will make the needed edits.
Interspace has holdings within our home system and they have great stakes in our economy. They are a sector-wide trade organization and should be treated as such. Asking the ships to vacate the system while so close to one of their own stations was a very poor judgment call. Therefore, the order to switch to a Phantom stands. I was weary of allowing usage of the Wrath for this very kind of activity and the Wrath test program is being terminated completely.

Subject: Resignation.
It is with dissapointment in the Rheinland Government i file this Resignation, I feel i have been treated unfairly and been undercompensated for my Hardships in the defense of the people which is why i file this.
This desicsion is effective immediately.
My personal Affects will be transported off planet ASAP and the Phantom will be returned to its storage hangar.
I have but one last request....Whoever gets to be my replacements...take good care of the Phantom..

Subject: Leadership change
This is a rough time for the RFP. Under my supervision we have lost several officers to the Nomad infestation. Unfortunately for me, the order has come down to reorganize the police force. For me this means that I must step down from my post. I am confident the new leadership will keep Rheinland safe and they will have my full support. As for me, my resulting rank will be decided by our new leader.
