I give up!
I can't connect my laptop to our home network. Brother set up some password and what he said he thinks it is doesn't work.
So I call to other high-ranking officers, please, get there and look over our lads.

' Wrote:Captain Stanley Nelson has been captured by a KNF destroyer and hauled back to serve as a POW in Kusari, where he is currently headed for Fuchu Prison.
My idea for how the RP could go from here is as follows:
I have created a special character to represent Nelson as a prisoner, which is currently docked on Fuchu Prison and will remain there for the duration of his captivity (I would appreciate it if you could comment on the Special RP Characters Request I have made for this, to help move things along).
The rescue will form two seperate events, which will take the form of BAF/KNF battles, with some special roles for Privateers &/or Blood Dragons.
The first event would involve my MI6 (or is it MI7?) agent secretly inflitrating and disabling the security in Fuchu, allowing Nelson and some other prisoners to escape from their cells and steal a ship from the Docking Bay. Meanwhile, the BAF fleet would launch a large diversionary attack on Kyushu, to draw the Kusari fleet away from Shikoku so that Nelson could make his escape. Either just leave one or two KNF/KSP ships guarding the prison for Nelson to escape from (or defeat with the help of a BD or two), or else have the KNF fleet break off to rush back towards New Tokyo once they noticed his escape, forcing him to flee North into the arms of the Blood Dragons.
Either way, he should end up being sheltered by the Blood Dragons who take him back to Kyushu base where he can hide from the Kusari (The BD should already trust Nelson as he is the one who delivered the shipment of weapons and supplies to them in the event a few weeks ago). Also in his escape, Unselie has asked that Nelson find and rescue Sam Windsor, who has been languishing in a Kusari prison camp for months now. Too weak to fly her own ship, Nelson takes Sam onto the fighter he steals and gets her safely to Kyoto.
Whilst Sam recovers her health on Kyoto, Nelson would then remain with the dragons, living the life of an outcast with them and accompanying them on raids against Kusari, until the second event.
After some discussions it has been suggested that the second event might take the form of Nelson and the dragons attacking a Samura convoy in Kyushu, and being ambushd and attacked by a large KNF fleet. Some passing Bretonian privateers might pick up Nelson's long-lost comm signature and call up the BAF reserve Fleet in Tau 23, which moves to engage the KNF in an epic battle (capital fleets?) in Kyushu, during which Nelson and Sam Windsor are re-united with the BAF.
Should the BAF win, Nelson and Sam are able to return to Bretonia along with some military supplies/secret information he was able to retreive from the Prison. Should the BAF lose, the 2 of them have to flee alone, making it back to Bretonia but wihtout the whatever other bonus would have been available.
What are people's thoughts on this?
From Dieter: Personally I would be happy to do the first event either this week or next, maybe leaving the second one until January.
If they both have to wait until Jan I would not mind. I can write up some stories, and annoy everyone with Commander Graham Harper, haha...
I can't do this event tonight, probably best to postpone it to January sometime to give us a chance to plan it properly if it is to be a major double-event. Also, need to give Unselie a chance to prepare her storyline a little more.
Please do give your thoughts/ideas on the current plan though

Some BAF guys could go through Liberty for a two pronged attack from Kelper and Galilleo(Spelling?) while the main force attacks Kyushu. We'd have to get their approval, which would impact Kusari-Liberty relations. If not, we could still go with the above mentioned plan.
Current plan is, I suggest, just a standard fighter-only slugfest in Dundee.
How about the presence of the Minister of Defense there, with the purpose of strategic reconnoitering of the system?
KNF surprise him and his fighter escorts, and if KNF wins the fighter-only slugfest, he has to try to escape, and can only try to do so once the fighter battle is over. Of course the MOD can fight as well. No missiles, I promise:)
Lets assume in that case that if BAF loses, and the MOD Flagship is destroyed, the MOD still escapes, but BAF pays KNF 40 mill of money, and we have to "rebuild" (ie rename) the MOD flagship.
If BAF wins, umm, dunno. No KNF presence in Dundee for a week? Money payed to BAF?
Rules : No non-agreed reinforcements. If an indy allied shows up uninvited, we stop fight and all of us ask him to leave, OORP in system chat be damned. Some don't listen..
How about if they lose, the KNF accept Bretonian de-facto control of Dundee and the jump hole from Tau 31, until any future event changes that status again. This would mean no KNF incursions into Dundee of more than a single ship (which can sneak past the BAF fleet) until the KNF win their next organised battle in Tau31?

Oh right... using this logic Leeds would have been conquered in the very first KNF vs QCO fight one year ago.. and since no battle was ever fought there again... it's owned by KNF since then...(btw Edinburg is owned by BAF yes;))
Also if you track back through this or the two previous weekly battle threads I proposed moving the fights according to win/lost some 7 months ago... it was torpedoed by the whole QCO then since "PVP performance shouldn't decide anything"... oh well
Anyway I just wanted to say I can't come today.
*whole BAF jumps with with joy*
