Exile, instead of blending color on top of the body, try blending the body on top of color.

I'm pretty sure he meant to make another layer, color in over the skin, then move it so that it's under the body layer. Then, set the body's blending options to something so that you can see the color through it (maybe Overlay?).

That's an idea. But the effect you'll want is Screen I believe. And when I tried that about ten minutes ago, the character lit up, making her all white like. And that's the only thing that happened <_<

Ah, that sucks. Well, I'm no good at actually doing stuff with Photoshop, just putting stuff together, so I'm not really sure how you could do that:P

I think I just came up with an awsner. I'll make all the layers into one .png, open that, then paint over it. Shouldnt give me any trouble with the effects, it being a .png and all.

I'm trying my hand at it, Exile, and so far it's looking decent, at least. I'll post the result when I'm done, I think I made her skin too purple though. I'll make it less saturated.

I personaly wasn't gonna go for purple, considdering thats the pictures actual skin colour. More something else. Maybe blue, red, anything that fits with the armour. And if nothing's gonna work, I'll just leave it gray.

Maybe do something with the hair too... Or not :laugh:
