Oops, I voted the 5-50 times but each and every time it was the inRP use of the tradelanes way. Cept for a few times through the NB-S13 JH. The pirate chased me there, I swear!

Seriously, Diamonds/niobium is one of 3 profitable routes for RepEx shippers now that Liberty decided to shut their boarders. >.<

I do the "legal" route on my Kishiro Bumblebee, and was actually quite surprised at how low the profits were in comparison to something like Boron-Beryllium or engine components...Niobium sells for 500+ on Kyushu...which means its kinda expensive to load up.

I've been known to run it, but I never go through Chugoku, and never have.

It's actually my main route but I do it for RP purposes not for the profit. Though the money is good. It's one of the few places where I can talk to more then 1 Pirate and give them rum as payment!

Never have, never will. It's not in any of my character's RP to do it, so why should I?

I have never done the Chugoku version. I did do the tradelane variant a couple times, but I found there are variations that make more sense. Anyway, having a Samura ship going through Chugoku wouldn't make any sense!

You, sir, are rightly entitled to throw the first "rock", conveniently acquired from Planet New Berlin. Heck, throw all the 5000 of them

nah, just yanking your diamond necklace here... :P

Flying under radar.

Diamond / Niobium run is a good run ... what makes people call it OORP is when traders use the jump holes ... specifically the New Berlin / Sigma 13 and Sigma 13 / Chugoku jump holes. These traders expect to go through Chugoku (home of Blood Dragons) and Hokkaido (home of Golden C's) ... AND ... the expect to have safe passage through hostile territory.

Blood Dragons aren't just gonna let you pass through their "secret" base without being stopped, scanned and turned back to where you came from or requiring you to drop your cargo. They ARE in a bit of a scuffle with the Kusari government over who is the legitimate heir to the throne.

If you understand the storyline (and remember SP) for the Blood Dragons you should remember that Kyoto is a "secret" and "hidden" base. Lawfuls aren't supposed to know where Chugoku is ... much less be able to pass alongside Kyoto without being engaged.
