Invisible Items!

Hello

Now someone correct me If I am wrong but I was flying somewhere and almost flew straight into a battleship! Now I checked my system map and there was nothing showing.

As a result I presume certain bases etc do not appear on the system map?

Is this the same for certain wrecks? I see people flying around with weapons I have never heard of and also advertised on the Stock exchange

Advice would be appreciated as I fly around in Cruise waiting for the little red cross to pop up and if some of them dont I will have to slow down and look around, could take forever!!

1. those are codename weapons, or codies. you get em from metagaming by wreck camping.
2. sattelites wont show on map i believe, was it one of those?

I know about Codname weps and have found a few as they pop up as red crosses on my systam map, was wondering if some dont?

Nope, wouldnt know where that was. I was in one of the Liberty systems.

Anyway, Does anyone know if there are various items, bases, wrecks etc which dont show up on the system map when you get close to them!

Some systems cannot be nav mapped.
if thats all the data, end of line.

In the NY system, inside of the pittsburg debris field particle cloud? If so, yeah, that base is supposed to be secret and doesn't show up on your radar or Navmap.
