Ya I guess you are right, but as far as how much faster it turns I have no idea. This thing about Freelancer is that it does not use any standard physics from the 'Real World" so none of the real world equations work.
Well, nothing is better than the empirical way... as I said, put the numbers aside and take both ships, fly them and fight them a fair amount of time. Even better, fly some other ships to get the feel.
But we're getting a little off-topic here... back to features, bugs & suggestions please...
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. I just wander, anyway, here's what happened: engaged the Phantoms in Theta and while shooting the Nomad Cruiser 'Desolator':
all the shots connect while he has the shields
but the problem comes when he doesn't have shields, the first salvo passed crossing at the crosshair but no damage (too bad I didn't catch that in a pic), this was the second salvo note how much off target I'm aiming for the shots to connect (mouse pointer is just out of the lower left corner of the target box)
These went right through the ship
Same here, I was aiming right on the crosshair
another wasted salvo went through the ship as if it wasn't there....
Is it the Nomad Cruiser or my Battle Razors? Or maybe my aiming? My aiming isn't for sure as I continued with DarkStar I missed only a few times when I didn't have the pointer on the crosshair because in order to hit the Osiris, it needed quite precise aiming.
I died in the end but that's not the point
Thanx to the Phantoms for the excellent little encounter and the willingness to repeat for screenshots.

The hitbox of the nomad cruiser might be off because it's currently using the gunboat one.
It's better then the previous hitbox it had, I could have sat right on your nose and slowly pounded you to scrap while all your shots went right though, including the shield.
It might also have been that I was thrusting and flying around you at the time, most of my inferno shots at you missed too, enough though I have the cross hair centred and you were practically sitting still.
The small "sphere" I have highlighted seems to be the *only* thing on this ship you can score a hit on.

I find it funny that you chastised me for using the Taiidan bomber even know you *know* about the bug on that Nomad Cruiser and didn't report it untill someone else noticed it was a problem.
Seriously what's worse? 50% of your ship being un-hittable, or alitle extra manuverability?
In otherwords, look in a mirror before judging others, please.
DO, I hate to enter this between the two of you, he did report it, it was even worse, like it didn't have a hitbox... and this was testing, the second time he did it for me to take the screenshots... I guess he would have not agreed to fight the second time if he'd want to hide it as I said I want to take screens while I fight...
