Incoming Transmission

To: Assistant Director Bader
From: Special Agent LaRouche
Subject: Prisoner Transfer
Priority: Normal

Message reads:

Greetings,

I would like to report the succesful transfer of prisoners to Sugarland Prison. The majority of the prisoners were unrecognizable, two-penny scum but on the list was nearly one hundred notable hard criminals with Liberty Rogues making the majority followed by Xeno terrorists.
As instructed I organized it without warning and even LSF was caught surprised and offered to assist. The escort group assembled was more than sufficient, however, and we wanted to keep this as internal as possible.
Special Agent Max DeVirgo, in command of his gunship S/D-Surma, was Escort Leader
Agent Jake Grafton, piloting his bomber S/D-Venator, was Escort 1
and Rookie James.Witter in his SS was Escort 2 and advanced scout.
The trip was quiet with no attacks made on us. It turned into more of a practice drill for the veterans. Rookie James Witter got the most out of this and was able to learn our roles when doing escorts, especially with the variety of ships we had.
I shouldn't say the trip was completely uneventful; when I ordered my crew to put ConAir through the Jump Gate to Texas a mal function occured. The ship wasn't exiting, we were stcuk in the Jump Gate! With thousands of lives on my shoulders filled with dread, unfortunately there was nothing I could do but order all the food to be secured for rationing and to turn off unecessary systems to conserve power. I don't know how much time passed but we still weren't in any danger of running out of supplies when the whole shipp violently shook and we hurtled out of the Jump Gate on the Texas side. The roaring cheers were deafening.
Happy to go to LPI's labour base, imagine that.
On the trip back the escort was more lax, without having thousands of lives to take care of we were feeling more comfortable. Rookie James Witter stayed on and worked as my advanced scout. He stayed ahead to inform me of any possible hostiles so I could have enough time to alter my route. He's pretty good and fell into the role with ease. ConAir is currently docked in an undisclosed location.

Combat Report

Special Agent DeVirgo, aboard the S/D-Surma, reporting

Finally got back to Bretonia from escorting the S/D-Con-Air over to Texas yesterday (we had a seal leak issue, forced us to RON at Planet Houston). We'd first stopped at Sheffield, and then went to the APM test facility on Leeds to make sure that the repairs were good. Fortunately, given the rest of the day, they were perfect.

Headed down into New London, and noticed on scanners that there were two Molly Republic ships there. I saw there was a BAF pilot also in New London - I sent Ensign Jaedon Phoenix a message asking if he knew where these miscreants were. His cryptic reply - "cbrdg jg" - told me that he was already engaged in battle.

My communications officer taunted the MR pilots as we hurried down the trade lanes, hoping to distract them. Apparently it worked, because as we closed, we saw a Capt.Helm along with the BAF officer and two [MR] pilots. I quickly verified that these pilots were, indeed, [MR] pilots, as you can see here:

I was SO thrilled to note that they were both in Barghest bombers - I knew this was going to be a tough combat. It was - here's a snippet of my combat footage.

Finally, though, things worked out as they should have, and first one Molly fell to the valiant BAF officer, and then the other fell to my guns.

Considering that the Surma ended up taking I don't even know HOW many direct hits - by the time we were done, we had no bots, no bats, and my engineer was holding two consoles down with space tape (which, considering we had several holes in our hull, albeit none critical - suprisingly enough, the APM engineers at New London say she'll be spaceworthy in less than 24 hours.

Based on my calculations, we just earned about 750,000 credits from the BAF and 3.5 million from Aetherworld. That's a good days work, any way you look at it.

Incoming Transmission

From: Agent James Witter
Subject: Reports & Requests
Priority: Normal

Message reads:

Greetings Assistant Director,

The past few days have been eventful in my sector. As mentioned in Special Agent LaRouche's report, I aided in the transport of convicts to Sugarland in the Texas System. The mission with ConAir opened my eyes to how to run a successful escort mission. With this knowledge I feel confident to lead in further escorts with Synth Foods, APM & S/D.

After escorting ConAir back to a secure location, I proceeded to Cambridge to patrol there and in Omega's 3 & 7. This route is popular for trade, including APM ships, and hence is subject to occasional piracy. However upon launching from Planet Cambridge, I found a Molly Republic Ship hovering above the system. With my target flying a bomber and myself piloting only a Sea-Serpent I realised that I was severely out of my league. However some White Tiger pilots came into scanner range and I hailed them for support, however they were very hesistant to engage the pilot when we greatly outnumbered him. This frustrated me because the paycheck on a dead Molly is about 2 mil, a concept that greatly excited me. As if answering my prayers, S/D-Athenas.Memory came into Cambridge, hailing me on long range S/D private channels. While the Athenas.Memory came into join the situation I tied the pilot down in taunts and meaningless banter. However just before Athenas.Memory could arrive, the Molly pilot was engaged BAF rookies((NPC's)) and also decided this would be a good opportunity to attack me.

Needless to say it didn't take long for the Sea-Serpent to destroyed and my escape pod to drift off towards Planet Cambridge. Athena resolved the situation by destroying the Molly, tractoring in my pod and carting me back down to Planet Cambridge.

It is for this reason that I was to request the approval to build a AP-12400 to help cope with heavier targets that are frequently being used by pirate organisations. I'd like the designation to be S/D-Penance. I hope to hear of your approval of this soon, however I realise that these things take time and more materials are required for a ship of such size and hull strength.

I await on Planet Cambridge for further communications from Head Office.

End Transmission

((Have a great Christmas guys, i'm off for a few days. See you all on the 28th))

*** INCOMING TRANSMISSION ***

To: Directors
From: Rookie Cletus Behn
Subject: Patrol report

I have some bad news. Sea Serpent had a critical flaw in the cruising engine. The technician said that I was lucky that it did not blow on me. The whole engine would have to changed and I don't have time for it. I had to change it to Hammerhead. Yesterday I managed to fully outfit the Hammer and took her out to a patrol today.

I was patrolling in Leeds when a deranged Order pilot SeBo was arguing and pleading over system comms from the BAF to let them escort to Cortez. The BAF patrol commander steadfastly refused and ordered couple of pilots to escort the slightly weird Order pilot to Tau gate. I came to see the end of it and scanned his hold and found a bounty hunter pilot. I asked him to drop the hunter and BAF pilots enforced the order. The Order pilot handed the captured pilot to BAF officers which in turn gave the pilot to me. I proceeded to Sheffield as soon as possible and handed the pilot to our medical personnel.

Then one of the strangest things I've seen happened. I just couldn't believe the audacity of it. As I undocked from the Sheffiel I saw a BMM tagged Civilian in Camara named Dormar blasting our supply depots. Before I could order him to drop the stolen Hydrocarbons and Boron he docked to the lane heading towards Birmingham. I spoke to him and to some passer by about what the little thief did. I didn't pursue him since he was a juvenile still. But the way he was going about the whole thing he will end up in the wrong circles for sure and we are bound to here from him. And then he will not get off the hook so easily.

I undertook my first contract with APM today, escorting the CEO himself! It was quite an uneventful trip, thats how i like it *chuckles* easy money!

The escort ran quite smoothly indeed making a few stops including: New London, a few bases in Omega 49.

The only thing that was to be noted was a curious Zoner that spoke like a corsair and even used their weapons. Needless to say my eyes were fixed on him as he followed us through to California.

Some guncam footage was taken along the way:

The captain of the Saggitterius seems to be an alright bloke! Might be worth having a beer with.

Anyway thats it from me... for now anyway.

The day started off kind of slowly, until i ran into an outcast named Kaspar on my way to Manchester.

The target was poorly outfitted and after a little bit of banter he engaged me. After taking down his shields and damaging his hull, he successfully made a break for it.

I accepted my loses and continued to Manchester. However later on in my patrols i ran into Kaspar once again in Texas, i could already feel the bounty money in my hand! Halfway through the engagement he oddly decided to move our battle because of some rookies ((NPC's)) bothering him. He was honorable and re-engaged when it was clear.

Although not much, the 100.000 credit bounty offered by the LPI is my first to be claimed through the S/D agency.

Guncam footage of my sightings in California and then the result in Texas:

Well Actually have something to report today. I spent the day assisting the Brets chasing Sairs our of New London and Cambridge. We had 2 that were bothering the good hard working folk. Those blokes are just big bad folk when it comes to traders but show them the wrong end of a mini and they run like scared children. Sadly to say myself nor the HMS-Rodney actually got a kill but we sent them back to the Omegas with their tail between their legs.

Dane out

Sirs,

I recieved a report from Athena's Memory that a Lane Hacker was in the Magellan system and that i should come and assist him in killing him. I rushed to the scene and found Athena and the Hacker were already fighting. I scanned the Hacker and saw he was in a Falcata Outcast Bomber.
I joined in the fight and later on Mark Williams showed up and began assisting. The Hacker tried to run and we constantly cruise disrupted him, and broke the trade lanes he was attempting to enter. Eventually he decided to make a break for California and he entered the Jump Gate, only to be shortly followed by us. We had another fight on that side, as he attempted to get away. Eventually he jumped back into Magellan and headed for Freeport 4 on thrusters. Me and Mark pursued but Athena had other business to take care of. Me and Mark continued to pursue the Hacker until we picked up another ship on the sensors. It was a Lane Hacker gunship.
Me and Mark quickly began manoveurs. I rushed for the Freeport 4 emergency landing pad whilst Mark attempted to take down the Lane Hacker before the gunship destroyed his ship. His efforts did not pay off. I watched his ship burst into a cloud of flames as my ship crashed onto the Freeport 4 landing pad.I later on heard his pod had been picked up and that he was ok.

This ends my report for the day, Mitchell out.

Dear sirs,

It has been a long and hard struggle as a rookie, flying the Sea Serpent has defiantly been a challenge! I have been serving with the S/D agency for a while now and wish to apply for a review for promotion to the rank of Agent - AKA Hunter.

I would also request the rest of the starting funds (3 mil).

Attached is todays battle report.

For your consideration,
Tek

Today wasn't very eventful at all! I started my patrol in the Manchester system to find, nothing! Later in the patrol however i encountered three hackers, including the infamous Phate. However when i was trying to sweet talk them into 1 v 1 fighting, to my surprise they just... left.

[Image: th_screen80.jpg] [Image: th_screen81.jpg]

After this i docked and had a lunch break in the Bering system. I must commend the Zoner cafeteria... they make excellent Burgers!

After my lunch break a fellow hunter told me of some activity in the Texas system... when i got there they had already cleared out. Although to my surprise i later came across a Kusarian pirate returning from a holiday.

Yesterday I was coming from Bonn Station to Sheffield Station. The way was long and boring, but as I arrived to NY things stared to be interesting. On my way I checked Fort Bush and of course I found something. It was a Xeno! He didn't speak too much, rather he fought. Fortunately he lost his guns and tried to escape, but he couldn't.

On my way to Magellan I found a Ruoge who was carrying Cardamine, only just 20, but I think it's more then nothing and he dropped it as I ordered so I could destroy it.
