Jinx, looks fantastic. Only bit of feedback is have the ship white in color and/or some type of bright effect. That way the ship is easily visible against the dark backdrop. Seeing the ship from a distance is important as new players would naturally fly toward it to see what the heck it is.

Jinx, based on what you said to Gurjiv here, I was too going to ask for a bigger cockpit and front part of the ship, until I read that we are mounting GB turrets and the ship is large?

I have no problems with the model, but why is it so large and why is it a GB?

Awesome design. The wings are just subtle enough to be plausible in FL, and just wing-like enough to be angel-like in design. Well done, and thank you.:D

why do i think it is beneficial to feature gunboat weapons and fighter weapons at the same time?

now, such an approach would be unbalancing for any real starship - but angels are rather tutors. - and it may be beneficial to explain and demonstrate the differences between warship weaponry ( gunboat turrets are basicly warship weapons like battleship or cruiser weapons ) - as well as demonstrating the use of fightermissiles, torpedos and fighterguns.

fightermissiles behave different to warship missiles for example, gunboat gunturrets are different to fighterguns - etc.

having all those aboard means that one single ship can show players all that is to know about weaponry and general pvp. - it can remain stationary and fire gunboat missiles teaching dodging of low tracking missiles, it can charge / joust them in a practice to show how the missiles danger changes when fired from a thrusting ship.

it can demontrate the use of fighterguns - as well as the use of gunboat guns - etc.

why must the ship be that large then?

its an aesthetical answer. - gunboat weapons have a specific size - and in order to leave the ship a certain aesthetic value and appearence, the ships size must be sized against the largest weapon. gunboat turrets are some 5 to 10 times larger than fighterguns - the ship needs to have a sufficient size - or it ll look like a few gunturrets flying with a ship - and not the other way round.

the questions are:

- is the ship fitting the angels faction?
- should it be more abstract?
- can we imagine such a ship to be used in freelancer, even by a faction that is not necessarily part of the core roleplay - but might just chose to either participate or be ooc.

The ship its fittng for the Angels very much!
The cockpit looks too much with the Raven Talon but I guess that could be fixed
Of course we can imagine it in Freelancer, but it will be out of the storyline (complety OOC) but since The_Angels its a OOC faction designated to help players I dont think it matters.

Could the ship actually be abstract and.. transparent and with some long "tentacles" like that angel from Diablo has?
