First step in getting the members of the Order Council

It's about time we did this.
Not sure why I can only have 3 poll questions, or I would have a poll for each individual. Anyways, the 5 members were chosen based on leadership, activity, their discovery past, qualification, dedication, and commitment to the Order.

The Order Council will be a group of selected individuals who will essentially "rule" the Order. Everything will be in role play, and we will never force anyone to do what we conclude.
This does not mean all other Order players will not have a say. We will welcome the thoughts, opinions, and voices of any Order individual who is willing to help the Order's rp.

After we get poll answers, well, if people agree I guess we can simply form the council and start stuff. If people want admin intervention then I'll welcome that.

But for now, please vote honestly, and explain well if you want to explain so we can get things going.

I'd like to point out that I am Seshat, and will probably use this account, which is why I voted some yes and some no.


I think councils and meta factions are generaly great ideas, and, if nothing else, encourage RP. I'm really not sure what reasons there might be for saying we shouldn't try it.

I have concerns about all the 42 people as they did this as a "social experiment" not for love of The Order.

Swiss/Tenacity have my support (for whatever it's worth) as -the- main Order players (except Stew, see above).

Eternal I have very little contact with (and an unfavorable impression, I don't know why) and would advise Swiss to look at that appoitment again.

In point of fact, we decided to be order before we decided to do any sort of social experiment, and I take umbrage to that suggestion. I have not been order for a long while, but I have spent a great deal of time observing the order, and spending time doing what they do, since .81(82?) with Kayvesk of the HF, then 83 with Bai.Xue, and more recently with Seshat. Furthermore, I've actually spent a great deal of time in order space very recently, and in the distant past, on my Mourning character, a nomad.

I have realized that the members of the 42nd seem to be a coalition of veteran players, players who lead their own factions and for some reason decided to make this group. I do respect them, and the main reason I would like to see them on the council, is because they are expirienced and can give advice like an elder gives the young ones.

Yes, I thought about this one, but I couldn't really think of anyone else so Eternal seemed to be the best fit. Suggestions for another candidate?

I have no Order characters, but I do have several who are their enemies so all interactions have been related to that or the forum.

I've interacted with both Seshat/Unseelie and Tenacity in the game, and they seem to both be rather in the know, as far as the Order goes. SwissScorch and Stewcool I've seen on the forums and seems to know the Order very well, too.

All in all, it does seem like it's a group that knows the Order and could hopefully help things along (as they seem very bumpy at present).
