i voted yes and no, the one i dont agree too is Tenacity.

Reason: a while ago he insulted the British Players and our nation which i found highly insulting.
so untill he gets too grips with whom is his allies and who are his enemies... i suggest he not be put on the council.

so I think we can conclude 3 things here.

1- Tenacity is in as long as he stops flaming brits?
2- Eternal should try to raise his activity although his time zone is different than most of ours
3- 5 is definitely enough. over 80% at this point said it was enough so 5 it shal stay.

If you want to change the name council, here are some synonyms I found:
assembly, board, body, brain trust*, cabinet, chamber, clan, committee, conclave, confab, conference, congregation, congress, convention, convocation, diet, directorate, gang, gathering, governing body, groupthink, huddle*, kitchen cabinet*, meet, ministry, mob, official family, outfit, panel, parliament, powwow*, ring, senate, synod

have your pick, but until something new is figured out it'll be council to avoid confusion.

I am ok with all but Tenacity. Sorry mate, but i find you a little to power hungry,and you go off doing thing's you consider good for Order without talking to other's first. I have been in Order 2 plus year's, with 4 char's. Until last 6 month's, there was little to no problem's. I do not consider this just a co-incidence.
I know this is pointless, as all love Tenacity, and he will be on council no matter what. I will play as Order as per the game's original RP,and help those in game i think deserve it. the 42nd will vouch that i do help my fellow Order out. I think this council is just bogus though, sorry to all involved.

1. Most of his "in-RP" arguments border on ooRP flame-fests, based on my experience... Then again, when his RP is questioned, its usually out-of-game flames too. *shrug*

2. Appointing one's self as High Lord Master and Ruler of the Universe, Her Godliness, the Shining Star of the Northern Dust Cloud, and Commander of the Order Guard with a handful of the community consenting is, indeed, a wee bit power hungry.

3. The monitoring of your popularity on the forums is a bit like a rat chasing bits of cheese. Allow me to illustrate,

"Yeah, yeah! Good? Yes... Excellent. Oh, I like you too. My, my, this is going rather well. WHAT?! No cheese? It hurtses us! IT HURTSES! -Place filler- Ah, yes. Agreed. Friends? Agreed..."

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

Lol, I hate this country probably more than you do, at least you dont have to live here and put up with the political BS all the time.

America is the land of "I sue you!", nobody has any accountability for their actions and it makes 90% of americans look like infantile idiots who cant get off the tit. If anything, I'm more likely to insult my fellow "countrymen" for being spoiled brats than I am to insult another country or it's denizens in particular. As said above, it was probably a joke and just taken in the wrong context.

My vote goes for "high command", makes sense and doesnt use the term council.

Though... The Order Directorate does sound kinda intimidating and cool.

Way to go exagerration! Point me to when I did any of these things.

And to comment on the last bit there, Aki is -A- commander -IN- the order guard, not THE commmander of the order guard. Commander is the rank, she has an order guard tag, that's it.

Now you've gone too far. Since I created my order character nearly 9 months ago, I have done more than ANY other player, swissscorch aside, in trying to elevate the general view of independent order members. I am one afterall, it would be nonsense to try and give a faction power over myself when I have no say in it =P

Maybe you dont remember, but about 6-7 months ago I was probably the most outspoken anti-faction player on these forums. Want to know what changed my mind? Idiot independents that gave myself and the rest of the 'decent' independents a bad name by acting like... well... idiots. There's one big difference between good independents and bad independents... the good ones will stand up and take the blame when they screw up, because they realize and admit that it was their fault. The bad ones will let that blame go to a faction or another player who has absolutely no ability to control or punish the indy for acting like a noob.

I was thinking the same thing. Plus, we already have a Zoner Council and a Council of Elders, the Order could do with a different word.
