Now, sweethearts, this communique regards the violation of the Freeport no-fire zone policy. I hope the Zoners get this message, because I'm getting a little tired of having to repair my ships when they're fired upon within this exclusion zone.
Today, a Corsair cruiser by the name of HAF-SirDark opened fire on my Manta, without any notice, within the exclusion zone. Far too busy avoiding the barrage of missiles coming my way from the cruiser, I couldn't properly obtain any viable proof of this atrocity. Another hunter, however, will be able to confirm the Freeport violation.
This isn't the first time such a crime has been committed, and I doubt it will be the last. As a bounty hunter, I respect the laws put forth by the Zoners, however when Corsairs and Order alike don't follow your laws and escape any sort of punishment, it brings into question why we must follow them.
As such, I am asking any person who has proof of another ship breaking the Freeport's no fire zone to report the details here in this communique. Hopefully then we can compile a list of the perpetrators in an effort to stop these attacks.

I read your report of the incident and understand your qualms, once you obtain proof of HAF-SirDark's actions, I respect any actions taken by the honorable Zoners. But at the same time I take part of your report as an insult to me. I am a Corsair, I follow the rules set down by the Zoners about their Freeports, your report seems to suggest that I don't follow them at all, and that you wonder why you should....
I suggest changing that report to saying "however when some of the Corsairs or Order vessels don't follow your laws..." just like I have seen some bounty hunters violating the rules aswell.
I know you seek punishment of just HAF-SirDark and I can respect that, but please choose your wording a little wiser.

I absolutley Agree...
I've got whole collection of sair caps attacking my fighter in NFZ...
A tape with proof's will be soon transsmited here...
I have endured many encounters with Corsair and Order vessels threatening and engaging the Destroyer I command. Legate-class Dreadnaughts, Huntress Cruisers and more have shot at my ship (and the Freeport I am moored at). These commanders are a great risk to the station's safety, so I feel glad to let the Zoners know about their unwise actions.

RE: FP No Fire Zone
Greetings,
We Zoners have been making an effort to make a presence around FP's around Sirius to enforce this. It does seem that when one FP gets kinda hot, we make a presence, things calm down and then another FP gets hot. With FP's spread around, it's a difficult task. We do make the effort, however. We're juggling FP security and other assorted missions so please bear with us. If you see a violation, take some film and send it our way. At the very least, these offenders can be denied docking rights. Any further action would be up to the council.

Sir,
Perhaps you could be more specific as to which freeport you are talking about. I can assure you that anyone who attempts to fire around Freeport 4 will find themselves in a painful situation.
We had to destroy 6 Outcast Gunboats recently that decided that opening fire around the Freeport was a good idea.

I have a message from Sir Dark, who can't speak at this moment, "It's easy to accuse without evidence. And that there is no evidence?. That the accusation is false. It kills more than 20k of Freeport and saying it had detected an enemy and attacking."
I need to clarify his message, remember we are corsairs, not all of us speak your barbarous tongue as I do.
His message is: It's easy to accuse me without evidence. And there is no evidence. Consequently this accusation is false, a mistake. The battle has had place at 20k from Freeport 11, and I announced "enemy detected" and after that "Engaging".
We, the Hispania Armored Forces, always respect Zoner's laws within the Freeports, and we don't like to be accused of such infraction, if miss Jacobson has proofs about it, please send them. In the meantime we expect Zoners treat us as always.

"as it was pointed out, we zoners dedicated with the guard of our stations cannot be present all around the clock. - we leave such matters to the lower grade patrols and the station command - of course those people have to watch over the traffic and have quite a lot on their schedules, too.
i am very sorry to hear that such an incident has - or might has happened. - but i am sure, the participating sides understand that we cannot ... or rather must not act without solid proof. we re no judges in a tavern brawl - every decision we do can have a major political impact - and to base a decision on hearsay is not enough.
while i would never question the integrity of any of the involved parties, - subjective views can of course affect the description of the events. - so - while we don t have proof of violations - i would like to ask those involved to calm down for now.
do not worry though - those involved will be remembered - and if we receive more troubling reports, we will ask the captain of the "might be" violator about it - in a fully voluntary interview without any prejudice of course.
It seems quite a few of you are asking for proof, but as I said in the previous statement:
Quote:Far too busy avoiding the barrage of missiles coming my way from the cruiser, I couldn't properly obtain any viable proof of this atrocity.
Let me re-state that I was merely in a Manta fighter when this degenerate attacked me in his overbearing cruiser.

First off its ma'am, or Linda, whichever suits you. *Winks*
Second of all, Director, the Freeport in question is Freeport 11 out in Omicron Delta.
To all the Zoners generous enough to give up their time to answer this communique, I give my thanks and my gratitude. With ever-increasing situations occurring at Freeports such as this, I can understand how resources can be stretched at times.
Hopefully this channel can be used to expose those who break the Freeport laws, so the Zoners can hand out appropriate punishments to these violators.

RE: Freeport 11 Neutrality Violation
My aplogies for being tardy in my report. While returning to civilized space from Freeport 11 with a load of materials for study at Cambridge, I encountered a Corsair and Gaian in Omega 3. The hospital just released me after repairing the injuries I suffered entering my escape pod.
Regarding the incident in question, I had just undocked from Freeport 11. Ms. Jacobson was sitting outside Freeport 11, approximately 500 meters from the port. As I was heading off on my specimen gathering, I noticed HAF|Sir.Dark approaching from the other direction. Since I 'knew' he would respect the neutrality of Freeport 11, I was not worried.
The next thing I heard over the coms was Ms. Jacobson screaming, "Incoming Missiles", HAF|Sir.Dark stating, "Linda, you better run now", followed by the loss of signal from her ship as it was destroyed - still within 500 meters of Freeport 11. I immediately reversed course and headed back, while HAF|Sir.Dark proceeded on to Kappa and presumably to Gamma. I was able to tractor her pod in and land her on Freeport 11, and my crew and I assisted in the repair to one of the modules there that had been damaged due to incoming debris from the destruction of her ship.
The only comment that was made by HAF|Sir.Dark over open com channels was gibberish. My techs report that I will have video evidence of it later, but it resembled this: =)
