the order knows =P the one ship that left after sol was destroyed, as far as I know, was crewed by the people who started the order of cincinnatus in liberty once they arrived. That order had kept itself secret until the nomads finally showed up in sirius and the nomad war began.
from what i know - this "knowledge" was not accepted as "canon". - digital anvil cut the trailer and released a different one.... aparently for some reason.
besides - whats the difference.
- Sol being utterly destroyed by a nomad planetbuster
- Sol being utterly ruled by the Coalition
the first option means that there s nothing left but space dust
the later option means that a bunch of militaries rule over..... some solid space dust - cause there s not THAT much left after years and years of war anyway.
anyway - it is of little concern for sirius. - the point of the exodus was to get away from all that and restart. - so we can assume that the alliance exodus went far enough away never to meet any Sol survivers anyway - and "space" is large enough to ensure that no coalition expedition ever comes there.
( unless the alliance is like liberty - leaving their blueprints, plans and everything laying around so that even a petty thief can steal it )
the only person who saw this had to fly in a normal spaceship x (lots) of years without cryogenic sleep in order to found The Order. A bit farfetched, even in a game where a fighter is almost as big as a planet no?

we didnt see any info on the ship, only saw it speeding away. How do you know there wasnt a cryo chamber onboard?
The extended intro is stupid. Why would the nomads send a supership far outside their normal territory to destroy the star of a race of primitive beings who are already trying to kill themselves?
