You see this mod is a great balance of stuff but it kind of drops the ball on Star wars and Star trek and those are the biggest groups of scifi fans in the world. these few ships would bring in lots more players, and new clans.  ;)

This is discovery freelancer, not "TrekWars Galactica - SG1".
the idea behind the mod is to expand the FL universe, not to add a lot of non-FL stuff to it.
Adding the current SW ships to the mod was already a HUGE mistake. No more ST-SW-SG-BG ships please.

I agree, I don't think any more ships should be added from other Sci-Fi games and movies. It would make the Game un-like freelancer.

It seems quite obvious now that nobody understood what I said about the Energy missile.

I said it sould have a decent power drain for some sort of sustaned fire like any other L10 wep and a lower yield so it is like homing bullets with visable trails.

My point was that I want a energy missile to use on a L10 fighter that is balanced like evrything else!

There was an energy missile before. It was called the swarm. Refire rate was 33.33.
It was nerfed several times. Original version was mountable on a weps slot. I remember having seen a starflier with three of those... what a nightmarish sight... Do you imagine a Starflier firing 100 of those per second?
Now, you can mount it on a torp slot. Has less refire rate, less damage and uses more power.

I don't really know where to post this but I think this will work.

Does anyone know if the corsairs Centurian (their HF) has been altered in this mod. I swear the vanilla one has a faster turn time the new one covers about 2pi/6 (60 degrees) radians per second. I think the vanilla one covers pi/4 (60 degrees) radians per second. Or I could just be me.

Note: I used radians in case people from differant countries dont use degrees

Here, Here Nightfall. But maybe we should have a screw around add-on to the mod. With a server with it. I would host it. Just the craziest ships and weapons ever! FL isn't really fun anymore, seems kinda like work. We should just have way uber weps and just have fun!

I am a long-absent Supreme Commander, Executive Commander, Grand Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Captain in the mighty Hellfire Legion. I have returned, and am on an urgent mission from Drake Thastus to return the Legion to its former glory, and to claim the galaxy for its own. Only then will I be able to rest.

Yeah now that I think of it that is a good idea but not about the missile maybe not have them for standard mount but keep them in the torpedo slot and can we make a slingshot variety for people who want greater firepower. I would think that we also should have different kinds of missile turrets for caps. Personally I would like to have homing missiles for caps that do less damage and such maybe just for gunboats because their main purpose is bringing down caps. And perhaps because GBs have no ablitity to bring down other caps give them the power to annoy them. With missiles and lasers that damage shields and power supply like a paralyzer missile. (just a thought)

And can we have a lane hacker gunboat too? I really am tired of having to get a gunboat from a different faction it annoys me and can we have a liberty bomber? And maybe a rheinland destroyer?

Tank's idea is good, the support GB. O.o. It partnered with a lib cruiser would completely pwn a BS. If you put paralyzer missiles on it, you could take out a power supply, and leave it helpless to attack. BTW, dude42, everyone else's picture is good, but urs stands out. BSG. Wow.

Rhineland Destroyer is basically cruiser/Destroyer.

Only difference is that a destroyer is weaker and more maneuverable in general and the cruiser is the opposite.
