Was it really the agreement word for word? Because when we were woting on the said rule, i raised a question of what constitutes as staging an attack. If i remember correctly there was no definite answer. As I understood the rule ment that Freeports will not be used as a rendezvous point for attacks against enemy territory, if it's not the case, could this be cleared up? Now regarding the reason why I said that the confrontation was acceptable by captain Kristina. In one of presented guncam shots it can be clearly seen that mis Kristina's ship is just floating on space, while the bounty hunters in question are almost between her and Freeport 9 and are about 3k away from her, that suggests that mis Kristina wasnt just going somewhere and was ambushed while on her way, she wasnt also ambushed as soon as she left the freeport no fire zone, as in the said guncam shot she's already outside of the no fire zone, also she seems to have a group of ships ready nearby and seems to be giving them orders on the secure channel. All this leads me to believe that mis Kristina left the no fire zone and waited to be attacked with an intention to ambush the attackers. As I said, there's nothing against the rules in that, but it does suggest that the confrontation was acceptable.

You are correct, only the first part was directed to you personally. I should have clarified that to make it easier to understand for the parties involved. As such, some of your responses dont really need an answer...

The "proper thing" would be to treat those who infringed the rules that were agreed upon with the same penalties as our people recieved. That is; a bounty with a notice that said bounty will be recinded once reparations are paid to the relevant parties. We suffered this, and we were under the impression that it was a punishment that would befall any and all parties unwilling to cooperate with the agreed protocols. That, obviously, hasn't happened.

Your transmission also seemed to have a large amount of static communications at the end of it, I'd suggest a new comm's unit.

As I have explained in my last transmission to Elder Globalo, I did not see a violation of the rules in the incident concerning captain Kristina and the bounty hunters, and it seems neither did other council members. If there was a violation, I'm sure the response would have been the same as in all ather cases.

I understood the rule was ment to prevent gathering of forces at Freeports, like let's say gathering a fleet of capital ships by Bounty Hunters to attack Gamma, or vice versa. As I said, I feel this needs clarification.

So,until clera claeification of this deal is maked, i will ask some pilots to patrol outside no fire zone around freeport.and destroy any hostile vessel that they meet. Because when is this deal not clear,we can not ne sure that there is no dangerous comming from freeports

To: ALL ZONERS

From: Elder Sephardi

I have finally had it, I am disgusted by the Zoner community at this point. There is absolutely NO consistency to the decisions of the Zoner Council nor the actions of individual zoners, except that you treat Corsairs worse than other faction. Let's look over the last few weeks starting with a Hunter being attacked by an HAF ship. The response was a bounty placed by Ms Tate against the violating ship. Now in all the time I have been associated with the Corsairs, I have never ever ever seen a Zoner take out a bounty against ships attacking Corsairs in the neutral zone. Do you really think Corsairs are not attacked in the zone? The response we get every time a Corsair is attacked is the same, "there is nothing the zoners can do about it" for one reason or another. Well I am no longer going to allow my people to be vulnerable to these attackers based on your Freeports. I am tired or being lectured on manners by clearly rude and uppity Zoners, who so clearly see the Corsairs as brutish and thuggish, while looking at our enemies as urbane and classy. This is nothing new and clearly goes back to the time of the AW. I will stand for it no longer. I have called for a vote in the Elders Council to no longer recognize the Freeport neutrality zone, as it seems no one else recognizes it when it comes to attacking Corsairs. As to Gran Canaria, I would suggest you learn alittle more about the situation. The threat to Gran Canaria was to lift our protection deal. The deal between the Zoners and the Corsairs was that the Corsairs would patrol and defend Gran Canaria. Why should we use our resources to defend people who treat us as second class to the Outcasts and the Bounty Hunters.
