Hi Admins,
i?ve got a question. I?ve asked an admin 1 hour ago why my ID is no longer available ingame. He said i should install the FL Mod Manager and reinstall the game...then it would work.
Now after reinstall the game and using the modmanager and the discoverymod i am banned.
I did nothing. Can u tell me what i did wrong, please?
Your installation was corrupt, and could have damaged the server, the admins will ban you if you tell them you cant see the ID till you re-install and get in touch with them to confirm you have a clean install so as not to risk damaging the server. PM the Admin you talked to in game.
Use Mod Manager version 1.3 not 1.4. 1.4 causes issues with FLhook from what I remember.
Also no other mods but Discovery mod should be activated or the server will boot you off and ban you.
Sometimes if you activate the mod with FLMM 1.4 (or just unzip and copy the files from the .flmod into your Freelancer directory), the ID equipment items are not properly added to the game data files. This causes a number of problems for the server. For a player, the usual sypmtom of this is that you can't buy any IDs from the equipment dealer at a base.
Activate the mod with FLMM 1.3 and it should all work.

Back up your account using Freelancer account manager, then go to tools/restore backups in flmm. Remove the mode from FLMM, re-download it and re-install it into FLMM. Activate the mod. If this doesnt work your probably going to have to do a full re-install.
