Well as far as I know, using the strafing thrusters uses up a very tiny amount of your thruster energy

What if we made it so that a bomber's thruster energy is much more rapidly depleated when the strafing keys are used?

Maybe so that if you hold down the strafing key you can move sideways constantly for 4 or 5 seconds?

I don't know if it is possible software wise, but hows that sound?

Stop trying to nerf bombers. They already get an agility nerf next mod.

Learn to fly your caps better.

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.

jeez this was just a suggestion

I don't know all the things the next mod is brining in, I know what we have now and I want to try and help
people out, cause I know how good bombers are at killing fighters, and it doesn't seem right

I heard Battleship Shields are getting higher max integrity, but lower regen.
And Kurosoa... that last sentence was kinda uncalled for...

By the way, To combat strafing, Put missle turrets on your ship, itll blow them up so fast they wont even be able to reload their supernova.

2-3 Gunboats
3-6 Cruisers
6-8 Battleships

just dont forget one bomber cant take any cap ship even if cap ship pilot is avarage. Or the money for cap ship is pointless.

The intent that I had when making this was that the bomber is more or less the 'go to' ship these days, capable of effectively combating fighters, transports and capital ships

They should not be the swiss army knife of the freelancer universe

and no, I don't use capital ships

If anything fighters should learn to strafe more. We only beat you if you fail to strafe when we fire an SN.

Cam, the power of missiles goes up with ship class. Any more than 3 missiles is just whoring.

the trhut is.. bomber should make huge damage.. but alos be easy to take down..

and atm its not...

Bomber should mean anything goof in a group. Solo ... u should forget it.
