' Wrote:No we won't be gaining access to Oita through Ellesmere. I don't think the LSF are as corruptible as the LPI. It's unlikely we'll pass to often through Hiroshima either, seeing as that's a KNF system and closed eyes may be neccessary, ever tried flying with your eyes closed? It's not a smart choice for a long lived pilot.

Finally the Admins involved in the IND purchase request will not be involved with voting for it. That's a conflict of interest and is prohibited by our Code of Conduct (An extra set of rules we have on top of regular players) SO Admins that will be involved in the voting include Kuraine and Xoria, both of who have been working on this mod a lot, and both of whom will know if the IND having Oita is good for the community.

I know I'm supposed to be supporting and everything, but...

That mean's we NEED a jump hole from Galileo or something in order to get to oita...

Or an agreement with the LPI, like my IND has, for access to pass threw the system. We would have to come to an arrangement for the whole faction, but if they will do it for one or two or three (as is the case with the TAZ) why not a faction?

The SCRA's system is smack in the middle of hostile space. We've got corsairs and zoners on all sides, with nearly daily attacks coming in. Although Omega 5 is vanilla, the south side is effectively *owned* by the corsairs, and Omega 50 will soon have a large corsair presence. Neither of these systems are guard systems, but they are heavily populated by both hostile players and NPC's.

In addition, there are currently NO admins serving with the SCRA, yet we posses a system in an advantagous spot, our own ID, and several more shiny things coming in the new mod. None of these were brought about through admin intervention, but rather through roleplay, hard work, and years spent on this server. The fact that the IND posseses a number of admins among it's roster has nothing to do with the fact that is it is one of the oldest and most respected factions on this server.

Also, as pointed out, the admins who do possess membership in the IND are prohibited to partake in any discussions regarding system ownership, ID, etc.

the SCRA is also "unlawful" in that they don't care about the corsairs saying "don't go through here". The IND is "lawful" and should care what the government thinks of them.

Right, just a small complaint about an experience I had today with one of your members, (Name will be supplied on request, but I'm keeping it quiet to save any embarassment caused). Well, my pirate disrupted his lane and caused him to pay me. I let him go and he took the lane and went off. A while later, he came back. I decided to pirate him again, since from what I understand, I can pirate people each time they pass me. However, he claimed that since I had pirated him already, I couldn't pirate him again. Despite the fact that I was only asking for at most 20k worth of nanobots, he told me to destroy the ship, since he wasn't going to let me have anything. I found this rather ooRP, especially since he then proceeded to drop and fire on his own cargo, so that I wouldn't get it if I destroyed his ship (The cargo happened to be worth more than my demand, by the way) and then halted his ship so that I could destroy it. He insulted me as I attacked, telling me that I was stupid, since I had launched several SN shots at him without damaging his hull, until he realised that I had blown off all of his guns and reduced him to 1% hull integrity, wherupon he told me to "Burn in hell" before heading off to sundive. All in all, a rather sub-par RP experience.

It is being dealt with, although your version of events is skewed, as, no doubt, is our boys. So we'll take the middle line and assume that's the truth, either way it's being dealt with.

[IND] smuggling cardamine...

What? I know, shady and all, but what about the bit about unlawful actions in the ID?

Adding to the above, when you're caught own up and face the music... To be honest, it's ridiculous that somone can submit images of you smuggling, then you can just claim it was faked and everything gets smoothed over. I'd like to see the IND actually get caught once in a while...
