I didn't make this thread because of one incident, where i got gang banged, but becaue of numerous ones like that which happen daily on Disco. You speak something about 4 BAFs on your Chimaera. Come on man compare Templar and Chimaera. 3 or 4 on 1 isn't a problem, but 6 + 10 NPCs support on 1 is. If it was 3 or 4 on one i would not complain. But imo anything above 3 on 1 in equal ships is not fairplay. And since it was in Tau 31, i can imagine you hidden near the battleship there, which has a firepower of like 10 fighters.

Also and telling me i don't play fair on BAF? Mate do you even know what my BAF char is? You obviously don't.

What ever char i am on, i always watch out to make it fair play for everyone, from my side at least.

And this thread wasn't started as a forum trial, but to raise awareness of the Discovery server members. And the names i mentioned in the first post were the ones i gave Kudos to for fairplay.

btwin same case 1 redcat vs 1 cat and numerous chimaeras armed with kusarian sux-guns is eaqual;)you can just ignore chimmas and focus on cat while nukespam and hope foolowing chimas just explode

The first one to eat space dust was me (Senzo).

I was considering calling off the others when I saw them approaching in a horde... untill my internet went poof on me.:angry:

now, I said "considering" because I feel that the Home system argument is a fairly good one. however, fairplay is more important in my book. still, if you enter a hostile system, the home system no less, you can expect the guard forces to be a tad brutal in their actions to defend.

if Gamma is attacked by 1 destroyer I don`t think the corsairs would send 1 Huntress to deal with it. it`s a bloody attack on your home system. it needs to be dealt with accordingly.

on the other side, this was a bit much I agree. no matter how good Tic can fly, being ganked like that is hardly fun. but don`t point at the KNF only. all factions do it.. unfortunatly.

on a sidenote: the KNF/KSP FINALLY was able to gank someone! rejoice! Now we are a true faction again! more than one officer to protect the entire Kusari space:yahoo:

seriously though, a nice way to keep it fair is to rp that your ship is damaged (even though it isn`t)

yesterday I was fighting some HAF lads together with Jonathan Swift (in a stinger). I was in a gs so I helped him (it was 4 vs 1 at one point) untill the odds evened up when Jake Holden (another hunter in a Manta I believe) joined in.

I left the fight saying my ships was acting funny. during the fight I deactivated 2 of my turrets (saying they were malfunctioning) to keep it a tad fair.

there are enough ways to rp a fair fight. if people are willing too and don`t crave for the easy "let`s go get im Earl" kill and bring overwhelming odds.

Tic's BAF character is Rodney.Trotter (Challenger)

his BAF independent is for example HMS.Rodney (Bretonia Battleship), you know the one that used to hunt 1-2 Chimaeras around in Taus....

so it is indeed interesting when he's the one complaining about "fairplay".

Fairplay doesn't exist in our world. And if you find it please let me know...I'd be curious to know where it exists so I can move there.

In the end Tic, it was really your fault that you flew into New Tokyo in a BD Bomber. That is the reason why so many attacked you. If you would have flown in, in anything else, you probably would have been left alone.

some people, far too litlle though, will try to make a fight fair. I had my BS ganked by outcast bombers and a dessie. the dessie didn`t fire a single shot and announced that he would let the bombers tear me up. that was so very nice to hear:lol: while my ship was being torn apart faster than you can say "ouch"

as will some GB bugger out of furballs etc. it`s just up to the player behind the keyboard. all I can say is: if you don`t like to be ganked, don`t do it to others please.
