The template is a suggestion, created by me in the face of the "Do we have to?"'s. I'm sure your efforts weren't wasted.
By all means use the faction information forum for...um...faction information.

Administrators have the tools to work out who is playing anyway and under what forum account. (Except in some circumstances, but we will ignore those.)

I guess we do.

Yes, the length of status posts has been extended ad absurdum. Good that I didn't have to start a topic on that.

About the member list ... Isn't it enough if it is elswhere on the forum and the status post contains a link to it?

@Athenian, since your PM box seems full...

You want a complete list of faction members including ranks. IMG| has over 130 ships and 27 active players at the last tally, a few days ago. And tends to grow and shrink rapidly based on how many people want to make a lot of credits in a group effort. If you want that list I'll post it, sure, but if you want the thread cleaned such an extensive list is probably not a good idea.

I'm open to suggestions. Could list only the folks with specific functions in the guild, which is about 6.
