In relation to "what pirates do you like encountering the most".

Now the opposite question. Who do you like to pirate the most. I would probably have to say Daumann. Had a small indie faction some time ago. Had a great roleplay with one of the miners. There was also a Planetform guy that I managed to stop as a Gaian. Great RP it was. I even got bribed to leave him alone.:)

None really stand out... Not many factionalised traders pass through Liberty, and of the ones I have met none have given me memorable RP. Hopefully now the amount of factionalised traders will increase, though.

I wonder if we're allowed to demand RP instead of cargo and credits >_>

Ahh there's 2 types of enjoy. There's the enjoy because you met a trader who RPs well and makes the whole experience fun, and there's the enjoy because you met a terrible moneygrubbing turd and you ripped him off and/or blew his ship to bits.

For 1, I've had good experiences with basically all the official faction traders, but I'm going to go with AP Manufacturing. Since, afaik, the dudes in there also play the bounty hunters they supply, they've got a nice holistic feel about them, they really care (in RP at least) about and understand the guys they're trading for, and they just seem like nice dudes.

For type 2, indie zoners, all the way.

In my defence they are miners whose deliveries are handled by Gateway. I couldnt explain why Daumann or Kruger are there though... :$
