What is this guy trying to achieve? How do you see his story being resolved?

Does he want the death of all Bretonians or just some? Where does he live - somewhere remote or on his ship?

He can, in something smaller, make his presence felt in other ways. A gunship that captures crew, supplies, for a larger vessel that is rarely seen, if at all ..and word spreads of the true nature of his monstrousness through rumour and tales traders tell of the horrible fate of their passengers and crew.

Re-work the stolen Outcast ship part. It's the weakest part of the story. Stole a ship? Hmm. Stole a fleet? You want to make a splash, go overboard. He could have several ships working for him, and he doesn't even have to pilot or be present in all of them. He could resonably be expected to disguise himself and land on planets in civilian ships.

Age would also bring wisdom. We might call it insanity. But there should be some insight that humans aren't capable of.

A monster in literature has three distinct features:
1) predatory - it strikes without warning where you don't expect it
2) vengeful - it has a grudge that is unreasonable in dimension
3) holdfast - it has a lair where it is at its most dangerous

This character could be a long term addition to the game. Popping up in a busy war-torn system won't get the story the exposure it deserves. What he will get is short shrift from a country at war. Introduce him more slowly.

Just some ideas. I quite like the supernatural horror part. Staying awake for 800 years and living for a lot more means he would know and talk about things that seem odd but would be true - check the Disco timeline. Of course, it would require that some people he interacts with would have to realise eventually that he is something genuinely unusual. So a long gradual development of his presence would work best.

I agree with everything Athenian says. On a more practical note I think you should put the character on hold until you work on the RP some more and probably until you get a more proper ID (wait for an admin answer on this though), especially considering you're worried about things moving too fast.
In terms of the cliche theft plot I have not read the full story so it could be fine. I would be happy with it as long as it is fleshed out enough and fits in with outcast RP. If this were a book I would say this part of the story would need to be 2 mid length to long chapters, one building up to the theft and one that detailed the theft itself. Perhaps even a third chapter about escaping from the outcasts.

This is not a topic for flood, hence it is moved.

Just my add... Sounds like a fun, yes, but I don't really like two things.
First will be: Why and how broken "stasis" pod grants immortality to human?
Second will be: Stolen ship, yes, old story... But why do you need Dreadnought? Considering what kind of ship it is, I doubt it would be handled to anyone who "gained trust" ... if you gain trust, you may be named captain of a Destroyer... Surely not Dreadnought. (sorry for being picky a bit)

I liked this character, I've read The Power or Man and I believe I have an idea of what he has become.
I was [NLH]-Lurue by the way.
You know we could've used more friends against BAF but unfortunately your chars methods involve too much destruction to a planet...something my Gaian couldn't stand for. Which was all great RP. I learned you have strong RP so far with this char.
Motives and such? aside from an obvious need for revenge it would be hard to say which motives as Salazar's mind seems insane and inconsistant due to too many memories for a human to have.
If he is truly insane I can't imagine him heading a fleet for too long unless each is a temporary "familiar" later to be served for dinner.
But all in all if played with consistancy I'd say this char woiuld be a good addition.

tbh, I see no need for a BS. Really I don't. I read "Power of Man" when it was first posted and really enjoyed it. I haven't read the update yet though. Time, I haz none.

You could sum it up with the quote "his mind is clear, but his soul is mad" (I think it's from Heart of Darkness) and go ahead with an application for a Terrorist ID when you can again.

I would think that is obvious...

PS I will not explain it to you other than by saying It's like one of those basic human instincts.

First off, I was the BMM (one of the BMM?) RPing with you in Leeds the other day. The RP was good, I enjoyed it, despite originally being leery of the 800-year-old vampire thing (still am, a bit, but I can look past it).

Two things, though. First, as was already pointed out, Bretonia has a lot of enemies. KNF, Corsairs, Mollies, Gaians, occasional Hackers, AFA and Hogosha wandering in from Kusari (which I still think the AFA, at least, should stay 'home'), CR, Phantoms, SCRA, etc. We're freakin' swamped, and if the BAF weren't so awesome we'd already be overrun (from an OORP standpoint).

Secondly, a Terrorist Dreadnaught? I just can't support that. Mon'Star only has a Battlecruiser, and that's quite enough. Plus, I believe the Admins have stated they'd never be giving a Terrorist ID out to a capship without them first starting out in something smaller.
